Here is a List of Free Agents for 2007:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2674183

The name that stands out to me the most is Drew Bennett.

Bennett is a tough nosed receiver who would be a perfect Raider.

If we can draft Calvin Johnson and sign Drew Bennett we would have an explosive receiver and a reliable possesion receiver.

I'm not so sure that
free agents are the way to go, not so sure how effective they are and how much better they make a team.  I would like to see the Raiders go and build through the draft, get younger like we did on defense.  I think that receivers and backs can come directly from the draft and impact a team.

I want a couple of Free Agents:
Just the right kind.

I would like an OT and a possesion receiver. Perhaps even a run stuffing DT and a veteran QB.

Simms is not the answer!!! I know that for a fact.

Gabriel is looking like:
As I said...The guy who was complaining to Moss behind Shell's back...On the "Bright Side" of the "Dark Side" we have a 5th rounder for a malcontent.

This makes  Al look like a genius again. Although noboby wants to admit it!!!

Drew Bennet
is neither past his prime, an outlaw or a troubled player, how is he a fit for your team?:)

Sorry, I think Bennett would be a good pick up for anybody.  He has definitely been buried since Young took over and could use a new home.

We got Gabriel back!!!
Sweet at least him and Curry will try and next year he can team with Calvin Johnson and Curry to help offset the losses of porter and moss.

What?
We resigned him???

That could mean one of a million things!!!!! I will not even judge until I see the confirmation. This would sing the praises of Art Shell to Moss more than any other thing in the world could!!! (Well, I guess an angel coming out of heaven and telling Randy that he never really had a Dad and that Art would be it would be a bit better)

Holy Crap O...B...!!!!
The only way that Gabriel is back is because he wants to be here!!!

That is a HUGE step for the Raiders...

Then again...Perhaps he will net us another pich next year!!!!

(I just looked it up and he is a Raider again!!!!)

I saw the same thing
kind of shocked me, not sure he is a long term solution though, would like to see the Raiders draft a top line receiver in the draft.  I like Curry, but we need a deep threat.  Curry is more a decent Porter.

Moss and Gabriel are Boys:
Perhaps Moss will be here in 2007?

do we really want him back
I am tired of prima donna receivers.  Get a young talented draft pick receiver trying to prove themself.  There are so many good rookies this year, it is time for the Raiders to get those kind of players, not the veteran prima donna types.

If we can land another 1st rounder for Moss
and a third rounder I'd take it in a heartbeat.

From Crowder to Lynch there are players that I like alot after we draft Calvin Johnson.

I think we will be lucky
to get a 3rd rounder for Moss. Maybe a 2nd rounder but I really don't see anyone giving a 1st rounder for Moss. High Salary plus his lack of effort has really taken the splendor off him

For Porter I think a 5th rounder is realistic which is fine lets rid ourselves of the probelms and start the offense over like we did with our D.

An extra 3rd and 2 extra 5 round picks can be packaged to get us another 1st rounder since we should have the 1st pick in the 2nd round.

If we came out of the 1st round with Calvin Johnson and Marshawn Lynch i don't think to many people would be unhappy. Plus a new young up and coming coach to impliment the offense and in a couple years we might actually be good again.

Let's get rid of our problems and start over

I agree:
I also want Leak in the 3rd or 4th...If he lasts that long.

Brooks and Tui will be gone
so I would assume they will pick up a re tread vet and maybe draft someone. Leak could be good, mobility and a strong arm and never lived up to expectations maybe cause of the system.

You got that draft chart with the points for the different picks?

Nfl draft value chart
here it is

http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/features/valuechart.html

So assuming we dump moss for a second we could package 2 2nd rounders to move up to the top 10 and grab Marshawn. That would be good value.

Nice Chart:
If we land Calvin Johnson and Marshawn for Moss, our first rounder and a second rounder we could be stoked.

I can see us moving our pick to Houston for Carr and thier pick and getting Jarrett instead of Johnson.

If we could net, Carr, Jarrett and Marshawn this would be the best off-season in recent memory.
