Raiders to start McCown at QB

Honestly, that pretty much says it all. This is a travesty. A joke, if you will. I don't like it one bit. It just doesn't make any sense to me. McCown does NOT put us in the best position to win the game. Period. I just wish that Kiffin wasn't such a hard headed guy. It just seems like he picked McCown from the beginning and after Culpepper makes some mistakes it's time to pull the rug out from under him? He deserves MORE respect then that. It makes me sick man. Physically sick.
* Editor's Note *I had to bump this story to the front page. This is exactly the kind of rookie garbage that Kiffin has been displaying all year. Now he throws out a guy who has seen two days of first team snaps in four weeks against a terrible team and sits the guys who fought through terrible line protection and should be 3-1 as a starter. Garbage!!!

There is NO Doubt Coma:
This smacks of that hard headed Kiffin's pride.
This is a game that we would win with Daunte throwing left handed.
This is not SD in SD, or Tenn in Tenn. This is a shadow of a bad team coming into Oakland.
I AM SICK!!!

Kiffen is taking a kneel down
For all the great hope he gives us as a play-calling coach, he receives a fat "F" for personnel calls.
Go ahead Kiff, start the backup and watch our turnover rate soar. He isn't Derek Anderson -- he is a dog turd in the rough. Go ahead and give an obviously hurt Lamont Jordan the bulk of the carries on the running game when you have an a healthy Fargas and Rhodes available to you. Go ahead and keep our safeties out there and watch them piggy back an opposing team running back for an average eight yards.
Go ahead and coach beyond all common sense and out of a job!!
The bright side is that I'll only be able to hear Mc-no-one hand us another loss on the radio while watching the Pats v. Colts game on TV.

I LIKE IT!
This team is not going to the playoffs, but if McCown behind center gives this team more options offensively than Daunte in the shotgun, I'll take it. The last 3 weeks have shown how dull and boring this offense can be with a mediocre line and slow WRs. We don't need predictability unless we want to settle for mediocrity.
Keep it up Lane, with a few more drafts, you just might have enough ammunition to return to the "greatness of the Raiders"!

I completely disagree
In the one game McCown was healthy, he moved the Raiders all over the field. He understands the offense better, and isn't a sitting duck in the pocket. Culpepper is done as an NFL quarterback, other than a clipboard holder, and McCown gives the Raiders a much better chance to win.
