7/25/07 DLD Treu Released

Who can ever forget Adam Treu during our last trip to the SuperBowl. We didn't necessarily want to see him in there but he filled in admirably under the difficult circumstances that surrounded Barrett Robbins. I expect Treu will get picked up given his proclivity at long snaps. A 10 year career in the NFL is nothing to sneeze at. Thanks Adam, we wish you well!

This seems a bit abrupt with training camp opening tomorrow. I sure hope that, as the article states, this signifies that Newberry is healthy.

The Center Upgrade...

...is obvious. But will Newberry handle the long snaps or will someone else. In the Raiders I version, TE Warren Bankston used to handle the long long snaps for Ray Guy ( Raider member #15 to not be in the Pro Football HOF).
