Javon Walker said he is done for the season needed surgery on his injured ankle.

Does this mean Al won't pony up 9 million in bonuses for him next year? I hope not. If we are going to be bad lets at least let some young guys play and see what we got.

happened to Todd Watkins?? He was very impressive in mini camp and preseason and his reward for that was not getting any regular season playing time? I could see this guy with his good catching ability being near the top of the depth chart for us. Javon Walker and Ashley Lelie are showing why Denver cut them. Javon needs to be released without pay or atleast the minimum so we can get some guys in there who want to play and contribute. Ashley i’m not going to totally give up on yet because he has shown some promise when the ball is thrown near him instead of 5 yards over his head. The depth chart at this point in the season should be Curry, Higgins, Schilens, Lelie, and Watkins. But, it’s obvious we need a big time receiver and Javon is not the answer.

Watkins was awesome

He was my favorite guy to hear about in camp (other than the OLB battle). He’s got good hands, is young, and he’s got massive dreads. What more could you want? If Curry continues to struggle into next year, expect Watkins to take over for him.

isnt even the front runner as the best wide out avaliable.

id take crabtree any day just based on his production in college, but rmr anquan bolden? same situation…crabtrees combine numbers wont be as good as Percy Harvin, or that reciever from OK ST. i dont kno his name but there saying hes the front runner in all of this.

im hoping for crabtree but right now im assuming if his combine isnt 4.3 speed hes gnna fall to the mid first round, maybe even further down. you guys might think im crazy but think about it, did anyone think bolden would fall as far as he did? and i think its worse for crabtree because there gonna say hes a product of the system he played in Tx Tech. Crabtree will be the best of the bunch but we all kno in the era of the scouting combine, stupid moves r made and people regret them.

the WR class looks very good this year

Bryant from Okla St., Macklin from Mizzou, Harvin from Florida, Crabtree from Tex Tech, there was somebody else who looked good but I forget. It’s too hard to tell who we’ll get.

I think Crabtree may actually not be as good as Macklin or Harvin because both are big physical guys. Macklin looks like a TO prototype (without the bad character) and Harvin looks like a beast down in Florida. I’m still leaning towards Crabtree, but I wouldn’t be disappointed with either Macklin or Harvin.
