Early this morning I expressed my doubts about Russell
I take it back, he looks like somebody who could be real good. Until today I defended Cable, no longer. I got so sick of watching him call Fargas into the line for his 1 yd. gain, and leaving his offense with predictable 2nd and 3rd long plays. If you argue that he is softening the defense, fine, but that only works if you have a back that can break a play. Fargas cannot break a run, never has, never will. If McFadden is hurt and cannot play, fine but according to Cable he is fine, then why does he only get his hands on the ball 3 times during the game.
This is painful to watch.
Fargas had some really
good plays. And when they took Fargas out and put the supposedly refreshed McFadden in….he went literally nowhere….
McFadden ain’t the answer either.
