This is just too much. I feed into all the bull this summer, how big money free agents were going to turn this team around or at the very least in the right direction. I dont know why we would think extra money would make a player better, but we did.

Tommy Kelly mediocre at best was the highest paid DT at one point, Javon Walker was paid twice almost thrice more than Randy Moss so to live up to his contract would have to score over 50 TD's. DeAngelo Hall just reminded me how deceiving INT stats are.

Rob Ryan is pathetic, his defensive scemes are obvious, he ruined Micheal Huffs career "Lets play man coverage and drop the safety", "lets play the ends way way wide" yes his a piece of shit not suitable to coach youre sons pee wee team.

Moving on to a bigger joke, Al. Where do I start, let’s see an 80 year old GM, owner, and play caller where else does this happen? This is just ridiculous as a raider fan I demand for AL to step down immediately. If not Jamarcus will be a bust, mcfadden will be a bust, and next year’s first round pick will be a bust

Im sick of getting outplayed, outhustled, and outcoached each week/each year. If you want to ruin you're professional career play in oakland.

i completly agree. after the deangelo hall cutting thats gonna happen tomorrow theres going to be a huge chunk of raider fans that are gonna feel ripped off. im one of them. i bought into the bull shit htis offseason and now im fucking pissed. watching the raiders, a team i fucking live and die for, get raped like they did against a decent at best team in the NFC. well thats it somthing big needs to happen. and no AL davis that doesnt mean cut deangelo hall…that means get your old dusty ass out of office. you are too fucking old for this job. you had it once and now youve lost it. all that i can say is your legacy is going into the shitter along with thsi team. lane kiffin was our last chance of being a relevant team and al davis pushed him away to save pussy ass rob ryan. i could be a better fucking general manager than al davis at this point. i heard on the radio about 2 months ago that tim brown wanted to be a GM. shit bring him in hes better than wtf we have right now!!!

anohter thing. tom cable…GET OFF AL DAVIS’ COCK. i woudlnt be shocked if hes next to get cut along with tommy kelly, javon walker, and kwame harris. get rid of them all this team is fucking 10 yrs from being relevant again. ive been waiting 6 yrs now. how much fucking longer do i have to watch my annoying patriot fan cuzins talk shit? this is ridiculous.

think about it… when was the last time this team was good? jon gruden was our coach and aldavis was completly jealous of how much attention gruden got. so what did he do? well he shipped him off aswell..see the cycle? it wont end till we get an owner in office that sits back and enjoys the team his PAID general manager put together.

btw…the only money i see well spent this offseason was Gibril Wilson. you can see he tries to motivate this garbage team to play. Him, asomugha, gerard warren, and kirk morrison r the only guys on our defense with any fucking heart. period.

Does Raider Nation need to bring 1 million signatures on petitions to get through to him that he IS RUINING THE TEAM? I love the Raiders. I bleed SIlver and Black, I have respect for Al and all he has done, but, its over, its over, its over. Who in this day and age in the NFL doesnt know that it ALL BEGINS with the O-Line and D-Line. That is where you need to spend money and picks. Not on what Mr. Davis has overpaid for. C’mon. It has to get better, it cant get any worse.

Thomas Howard on the “has heart” list of defensive players. Releasing Deangelo Hall is the stupidest fucking thing I have ever heard except for benching Marcus Allen because he wanted more carries. Al Davis, I love what you have done with the Raider franchise but enough is enough. You are now officially ruining your career and the Raiders at the same time. Gruden, high priced free agents, Kiffin, and Al sounds really familiar. I think there has been someone around here saying all this from the beginning…. Who could that have been???

The good news is that there is hope. You can look at teams like the Falcons this year or the Panthers team that went to the Super Bowl one year removed from a 1 win season. All it takes is the right guy hired as GM to turn a team around.

But I am new, so I’ll take my mulligan.

As for hope, it is a little misguided. And this coming from a guy who always has hope. But you make it seem that the right guy as GM is not only right in front of us, but he is available, and Al is willing to hire him. This isn’t a team having a bad season. This is a team that has been stuck in the mud for a half-decade, and for every glimmer of hope there have been twice as many setbacks, be it on the field or in the front office. Not only that, actions and decisions from this year are sure to have a negative effect on the years ahead. Pinning our hopes on a Super GM sounds wonderful in theory, but right now it’s pure fantasy.

RaiderPete and I were the most vocal about it and the ones to “stand up to Al” the most. Or maybe it just seems that way.

Any GM Al hires will be AL’S GM. It won’t be any different.

But Kiffin is doing with a “I told you so” way instead of killing us on the field.

There’s a lot of Gruden in Kiffin. Wait. You’ll see Kiffin again. Oh you will. And he’ll be destroying us unless we get our act together, hire a GM that will stand up to Al when needed, and get us some good coaches and players and make the Raiders the respectable franchise we all know it is.

in a few years we can be the proud franchise we used to be. i love the raiders just as much as every1 here does. we as a group are hte most loyal fan base you can ask for. i refuse to jump ship no matter how bad this thing gets. im just hoping al realizes his loyal fans r gettin frustrated and hopfully he takes a backseat and jsut watches teh team rather than try to build it.

Agree man! Look @ my signature. Win Lose or TIe Raiders til I die! We all get frustrated and talk negative on here, some more than others, but we still keep a general positive out look for the Raiders. It does seem, though, that there is a more noticeable shift in “for-al” “against-al” members. A shift towards the latter. We need to make better draft choices that coincide with the current era of the game. We need to sign our pick and FA’s quickly and get them in camp IMMEDIATELY. We need a good coach, and that doesn’t necessarily mean seasoned, and for Al to let him do his thing. It takes at least 3 years to establish a program. You can’t establish a program when you’re constantly dumping coaches. Look @ the good teams out there, and you’ll see they’ve had the coaches for years and have a program. Maybe some ups and downs w/ new players, but it’s still a program. Can’t Al just look @ SD and DEN and get a clue?

Everything comes back to Al

Be it coaches or players. Coaches dont have the authority required to discipline players correctly when a trouble player knows the coach isnt the head man in charge, so what good coach is gonna want to come to OAK? Players who have potential wont come to Oakland because of the stench permeating from McAfee and if one does want to come to Oakland($$$$) he knows the atmosphere here and wont perform ala (take your pick). Atlanta and Carolina were able to turn around their teams based on chemistry, consistency, and execution, and Oakland has none of the above.
