Who should get fired?
Realfootball365 has an article about who should be fired this post season.
Javon Walker - No Brainer
Tom Cable, interim head coach. - Which actually leads to the surviability of Tom Cable, O-line coach
Robert Gallery. - I disagree here. I think Kwame Harris is a better choice.
John DeFilippo.- Well Duh.
Rob Ryan. - He's on the end of his contract any way.
So what do you guys think ? I'm not sure where he gets the idea about Gallery. I haven't heard about Gallery this season at all. That's good right?

But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."

My picks
Walker
Lelie
Knapp
Ryan
Huff
Harris
Green
Cable
Tui
Walter (We need real veteran leadership)
Kelly (his contract needs to be changed to a performance based contract)
Let’s get rid of the whole coaching staff. We need to clean house. I would like to include some in the front office but that isn’t going to happen. Thats all I can think of for now. I’ll sleep on it and will probably come up with more.

Keeping Cable
as a O-line coach won’t be a bad thing I don’t think.

I actually would like
to move away from this zone blocking. It is not doing anything good this year. Also, I don’t want to give up on Huff just yet.

I concur
w/ Huff. But don’t you think when Cable started wearing both hats, the O-line suffered? But when Kiffin was still here, it wasn’t soo bad?

I'm on the fence
with Huff but his coverage skills constantly worry me and thats what made me put him on the list.

One problem
we have with our o-line is that they are usually lite and athletic linemen. It is good when we are marching down the field but they can’t generate a push when we are in goaline.

I think he’s to inconsistent and makes bad decisions. However, I’m not sure if all the blame is his or if Davis has some say.

and have you noticed
Most of our good players AREN’T first round picks (Not all but most)
I think that says something about our ability to draft.
McFadden is probaly the best 1st rounder we had in since our last Super Bowl in ’02

Ok Jag
Our defense is good because there is a number of great talents on it. A new coordinator will only make them better. (As long as there is a man defense package involved.)

needs to restructure. I think. But he is coming along. NFL needs to put a rookie contract rule in quick.

I'm
starting to doubt my criticism now that he has a tackle on his blind side. Though I’m not totally convinced yet.
But I concur he needs to restructure.

The root of all problems. All the other names are a byproduct of Al. Until Al gives power to someone else, any actions taken will be compounded by the fact that Al will make more bad decisions. Any other business in America would have gotten Al out of power. If he really wants the Raiders to return to glory he will have to realize the game has passed him by. Al’s style of football is outdated by at least 20 years. The game is always evolving and if you don’t adjust…..well we are seeing the result: laughing stock of all of sports.
