Oakland Raiders News: DeAngello Hall Will Be A Raider

http://www.ajc.com/falcons/content/sports/falcons/stories/2008/03/18/halltradeburst_0319.html

"There is just some tweaking of the language that needs to be done, some minor details," Hall said of contract negotiations. "No deal breakers."

So there you have it. The Raiders, if they draft Gholston or Long may have the best defense in Football next season.

Hall, Huff, Wilson and Nnamdi will be able to keep the offenses from getting off the line, can run anybody down AND are sure tacklers.

I Love being a Raider fan...Al Davis believes in one thing and ONE THING ONLY...WIN NOW BABY!!!

We don't rebuild we reload!!!

Now, let's get Newberry back in here and work the draft to get even better!!!

Al Davis wheeling and dealing, bringing in
high quality, high character, high value players to "Win Now Baby".  Al Davis is on drugs and the whole Raider Nation is delusional!

Tommy who?  Peg-leg Walker?  Obesity Poster child Russell?  Loud mouth Hall?  QB killer Harris?

Al Davis has done to the Fader nation what I had always wanted to do...destroy it.

Expect to see alot more of these:

before you see any winning seasons for your team!

This post is for you Sneaky, may your Raiders rest in pieces, err I mean peace.

For Someone Named Zappa "Anything"
shouldn't you be a Raider fan since we are the brain on drugs?

I love how you are coming over here to a team that has gotten considerably better this off-season and running your "Wannabe Jim Rome" Smack. It shows that the Donkey Nation is quivering in their boots because all the Raiders have done is get better, while the Donkeys and their chief ASS are taking a nosedive.

Your poster child took a 13-3 team to a losing record and you all love his great last minute wins and "stats" while you overlook the biggest stat of all:

The Donkeys are getting worse EVERY year, while the Raiders are ON THE RISE BABY!!!

Pride And Poise!!!

Zappa has a bad rep, he never touched
drugs...at least that is what my dad says.  He might know, since he knew Frank rather well.

In any case, if you call 2-14 to 4-12 on the rise then by all means.  You are in for quite a surprise next year baby.  Hall is going to get raped by BMarsh!

Oh, and just for the record...football is never more fun when its the Faders and Broncos dueling it out for the AFC West.  I mean, come on, who here actually enjoys football when its the freakin' Chargers winning the division??  That's just embarrassing...I guess it could be worse, the Chefs could be winning it all.  ha!

2008:
Broncos 12-4
Chargers 11-5
Raiders 5-11(Russell needs to grow up first, 300lbs? come on!)
Chiefs 1-15

IF JaMarcus grows up real fast, I could see the Raiders making the playoffs about 2015, but only if Al steps down by 2010.  It will take about 5 years to fix all the bad things the crazy old man has done to your organization.  ;)

Pu-Pu-Pu-PLEASE!!!!
Hall can't cover who? Brandon Marshall? The same B-marsh who should be a TE instead of a wide-out?

Huff will cover that little girl with his jock strap and give that sissy an atomic wedgie while the rest of the piranhas circle your POND...Try to get deep against us and you will go down!!!

Pride And Poise!!!

Before you try and talk shit.....

J Money = 272 lbs

Al Davis = Greatest most influential owner in Pro Football and NFL history.

Donkey pricks from MileHighReport have issues with not getting their facts straight.

Al Davis WAS a great influence...stop living
in the past.  He is a relic of the past and has utterly destroyed your franchise.  But yea, keep holding his crusty arse up on a pedestal.

J Money = DT

And my facts are always straight, you just can't see through the fog called delusion.  :)

No Elway..No Chimp-a-han Titel...No TD=No Chimp-a-han title...Period...He is in NO WAY a good coach..he has single handedly tanked playoff teams year after year...He's Done, and so are the Broncos...Until they change the way things are run around there...Period

lololololololololol
WE?  have to change or we'll never get anywhere?  That is the funniest statement I've ever heard.  Look in the mirror!

The Broncos are the class of the AFC West and have been for the past 30 years.  The Raider nation is indeed a conquered nation.

Our 7-9 record was a huge disappointment, but the last time my team finished a season with 2 wins, I was 4 years old and it was a strike shortened season of 9 games.  In fact, 1982 was the last time the Broncos have ever won less than 5 games in a season.  How many seasons have the Raiders finished 4-12 or worse since 1982?  :)

Get your facts straight!

You're a Layup Kid:
Born in SD, Live in Sac and root for a team that won when you started liking the game?

I'm glad that you are a fan...really...Football needs loyal fans, regardless of them being frontrunner/bandwaggoners or not.

I've taken shots with Jack Elway and I would still NEVER root for his son's team...EVER...

Born in Castro Valley, still live in the East Bay...Raiders for life..Period.

That BS...I lived in Colorado in the early to mid
80's.  I was 6 when I became a Broncomaniac...I endured 3 humiliating Super bowl defeats and never lost faith in my team.

I lived through the mocking and hostility of 40-whiner and Fader fans in northern California through the late 80's to late 90's.

I am more of a Bronco fan than most and definitely more of a Bronco fan than you are a Raider fan.

Get your facts straight!
Super Bowl Record:

Broncos 2-4
Raiders 3-2

Division Titles:

Broncos 10
Raiders 16

Playoff Appearances:

Broncos 17
Raiders 21

Ahh, but lets do modern era stats shall we(post-1978):

Super Bowls:

Broncos 2-3
Raiders 2-1

Division Titles:

Broncos 9
Raiders 7

Playoff Appearances:

Broncos 16
Raiders 11

As you can see, since the year of my birth the Broncos have overtaken the Raiders in every key stat.  Yes the Raiders are 2-1 in Super Bowls since 1978, but they have not won a Super Bowl since 1982.  lol

Get your facts straight sneaker.

Sign Hall and BAM what happens.
Baily and Bly were one of the top tandoms in the league for CB. We now up Denver and you get a flow of Jealousy.... Entertaining for a franchise that just released their GM due to DYSFUNCTION issues with inside the team. A few years ago you guys were one of my picks to compete for a super bowl. But since then have nothing to decline over the last few years.

And when you say we will be seeing a lot more of these...

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j61/zapparulez/thdenver_xxxIII.jpg

Do you mean repeated pictures of your 99 win team as thats the last time you guys will ever see a super bowl?(much less win one) If so I am proud of you as a Denver fan to admit 99 was your last time to shine. Congrats and I can't wait to see more 99 super bowl championship rings shown, it makes me jealous as hell. And if you want to mix it up you can throw in the 98 one as well. You know mix it up. I don't know about you but as a fan of my team I hope for DIFFERENT rings each year not just the same ones I can show over and over. But to each his own.

Burn!
Except you forgot one thing.  Bailey can cover Walker.  No one can cover BMarsh.

Your tandem is not better when matched up against Denver baby.  You are going to get destroyed!

Little Zaps
straight talk:

1. Saint is a liitle delusional. Hence why he is my friend of 8 years.

2 Raiders sucked since SP

3. Champ can blanket J Walk.

However brandon Marshall is a stud but do not start with the fact that either corner couldnt cover him. The Raiders secondary with the additions is basically THE BEST IN FOOTBALL.

Will they be SP champs NO, however talking shit is fine but say stuff that is true.

Lets talk relative to this week. Has Colorado ever even had a good Basketball team? Colo St. No!! Rape University(Boulder) Nope.

Zapparulez turn down the estrogen
I get it Zappa, not much going on in Colorado a state more known for being the location of the hilarious comedy series South Park than football.  Speaking of comedy series and jokes, Brandon Marshall. I'm familiar with all of last years pro bowlers and reserves but still nothing comes to mind.  Oh yes, #15 notorious for barely beating out a half speed Walker for the number one receiver position.

The audacity to call Russell overweight, Saint is right, Zappa's lover "BMARSH" belongs at TE, I believe Chad Johnson would have said it best, "Git ur big ass back to the line!!" Please Zappa turn down all you're built up estrogen, and return to the Broncos blogging and blogg about when Bob Barker in pads(John Lynch) would retire.

I posted a video link above which shows
BMARSH schooling your Raider secondary multiple times last season.  I heard several Chris Berman, WHOOPS! watching that video.  Say what you want and root for peg-leg to not be a cancer in your locker room. :)

The only concern
I have is that Al is spending so much money, is their enough to lock Nnambi and pay the first round pick?  Al has always been great about keeping the Raiders out of  cap hell, but I have never seen anything like the spending frenzy this year.
I certainly will take the Raiders secondary and match it with any team in the league.  Two of the Raider linebackers are great pass defenders also so the future looks bright.  It is all up to Russell now.

I've said it once and I'll say it again
aside from that cheese-grated face of a QB, Elway, the term Bronco Legend is an OXYMORON.

The sad part is that most Bronchitis fans aren't into things like reading and vocabulary enough to understand what I just wrote.

Hey Zappa, remember that three superbowl rings always beat two, South Park isn't funny anymore and the only good thing to come out of Colorado is a case of Coors, the mid-range of American beers.

Take my example of packfan as a precautionary tale, and stay on the mile high report where you donk fans talk about what douches feel better than others.

The Raider Nation is the only Nation.

Well, I did enjoy this little smack talk session,
I'll have to come around again in a few weeks...maybe after the Faders draft some nobody and pay him 100 million for two years.

I'll let you all have the last word here.  Enjoy peg'leg Walker's successes and knee replacement surgeries.

by Tim Lynch on Mar 19, 2008 7:29 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

One last thing...
I prefer having the Raiders and Broncos fighting it out for the division.  It just isn't right to have the Chargers winning it every year.  That's like having Wile E. Coyote finally catching the Road Runner...it just ain't supposed to happen.

I respect Raider fans, because unlike Charger fans, they root for their team no matter how bad it gets.  The same goes for us Bronco fans.

Take it easy, and I'll be back to talk some more smack when you least expect it. :)

by Tim Lynch on Mar 19, 2008 10:31 AM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Please, don't bother
save the juvenile smack for the Rome show.  On this site we prefer to talk about the Raiders in our own way.  You are finding out what we already know, without a good QB a team doesn't look as good as it is, and a lot worse than it is.  We are hoping that Russell is our savior, if not, we will continue to look bad, if he is, we will be back a lot sooner than you would like.   There is a very fine line between losing and winning in the NFL, always has been, always will be.  With free agency, and a little luck teams go from 4 to 10 wins in a season, and can drop just as fast.

by chinabob on Mar 19, 2008 1:51 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I can respect that...
Have fun watching JaMakus Fail next season.  I will not be back.

Hall is in Oakland!!!!!
Hall is here
OAKLAND - DeAngelo Hall met up with Raiders Hall of Famer Willie Brown at the Oakland Airport and hopped into a waiting limousine on his way to Raiders headquarters in Alameda.

Hall said he was in town at the request of owner Al Davis and that negotiations to bring him here had been going on for about two weeks.

Hall a Raider!?
It's hard to tell if this is good or not. We lose the second (maybe third because of Pats thing) pick of the second round. I hope we trade Routt/Washington/Jordan for maybe mid-second to early third pick. Lots o' potential in this here draft. Hall has amazing ability, but lets be honest, Oakland ain't goin' to a Super Bowl. Hopefully Hall won't be like Moss and quit after our first loss.

McFadden?
Good gravy I hope and pray we DO NOT get McFadden. I think he's a great RB and would help us out, but at a position we need the LEAST help at. The draft will probably pan out like this:
  1. Dolphins: Matt Ryan
  2. Rams: Chris Long
  3. Falcons: Tough to pick but I think Jake Long.
  4. If Al don't screw up, Raiders: Glenn Dorsey
He probably will so, Raiders: Darren McFadden.

Oh, this draft looks to be a bumpy ride.
