Its A Long Stretch

Being a young one, I often heard about the admirable Raider tradition through old-timers as I walked them across the street.  In the majority of their stories they talk about a "smash mouth football" something I never knew existed in Oakland/Los Angeles I look at them bewildered since I am not familiar with this "caveman" way of playing, only type of football I know is zones, spies, pocket collapse and other overcomplicated civilized types.  During all this "smash football" talk they always mention and rant about number 75, claiming that he could use his signature "rip" move to unclamp the hands of a sloth.

Which brings us to the topic at hand, Chris Long. I want a first hand look at the true Raider experience. It all seems so surreal, you couldn't make a better resume for a prospect and a team,  he fills the biggest need, he is arguably the second best talent in the draft and to pick him up at 4 would be like winning the lottery AND his the son of a Raider legend.  Long's character is amazing,  he stayed his senior year not for himself but for his teammates and coaches.  His the best of both worlds its like getting a teddy bear outside of the pylons and a Grizzly Bear inside.  His also equipped with a V-8 engine, his motor is non stop and can run down anybody.  Long recorded 14 sacks in his senior campaign only .5 less than his older clone in the NFL, Patrick Kerney, coincidence I think not.  Both share the high motor and high character I wouldn't be surprised if Long and Kerney were the same person.  Chris Long is a "can't miss" pick BUT he WILL be gone by 4 since the farthest he will drop is 2, I hope I'm wrong.  Since he wont be their, the Oakland Raiders select Flash Gordon...I mean Darren Mcfadden(he wants too keep that first part a secret)

Yo no disrespect
But I don't see anything amazing in Mcfadden. At least, not with Fargas, Rhodes, and Bush. Look, if it doesn't work out with the Duo we have this year, we might be able to grab a great, and I mean great back from UCF, Kevin Smith. He is what you call a back. He is extremely durable and look at the team he plays for, UCF. Even though he's at UCF and Hella young, he still leads many of the RB stats in the NCAA. I think one of them is Leading rusher. Yes, ahead of Darren Mcfadden. he averaged 178 yards a game. WOW. he's a back i would love on the raiders.

WIN NOW!!
"But I don't see anything amazing in Mcfadden."
Oh so you missed the combine and every game Mcfadden played in...

Come on Rayder K, already looking at the 2009 mock draft(shaking head). Kevin Smith means a top 10 pick in 08. Unlike someone Im very optimistic for next season

with the favorable schedule and upgrades the Rayduzz will at least have a .500 or better season with Mcfadden dare I say it 16-0!!  This is our year!! Al's win NOW attitude will not let Mcfadden slip since he will immediately impact the game...im going to pre order his jersey right now

Wtf
Dude no offence I love the Raiders I've been a fan of them sence I was born. But they will not go 16-0 with or without McFadden the best they can go is probably 11-5 or 12-4 due to the fact that the Patriots (Even though they lost mostly all there defence) still has a pretty good team together and with a couple more teams. We might slip in the playoff wildcard or we might get in big. But not undefeated get real man :/ (I still love the Raiders always have always will!!!!!!!!)

WTF!!!
Wow you thought I was serious you're dumb, So did you not read the "dare i say it" part...

16-0 is something only done twice in the history of the NFL.  I am aware of this and I would like the Raiders to get Mcfadden and to show my desire I made a clear exaggeration as propaganda to sell the idea that picking Mcfadden will result in an above .500 record. If you cannot understand that than theirs no hope for you, by the way you spell "defence" with an "s"

Well..
sorry if I don't get every letter right Mr. Perfect. But even if you say "dare I mention" you still did mention it. McFadden won't do much for the Raiders because he has no power he will be another Reggie Bush getting smacked by some defender. The Raiders will go over 500. probably without McFadden on the team anyway another RB is just another BUST for the Raiders. 'N hell it might piss off Fargas cause he got to start last year and he might get it taken away if we pick McFadden.

Good Job
You realize the future already. Fargas would be pissed and so will everyone else. Like Michael Bush.

I have faith in Reggie Bush to adjust
I'm not sold on him being a bust just yet.

I'm also not sold that DMC is the next Adrian Peterson. AP is a complete player which I am speculative on DMC being.

The Raider Nation is the only Nation.
