Oakland Raiders News: Glen Dorsey May Slip To Raiders

It has been reported that Chris Long is most likely the Rams' choice tomorrow.
That means that ATL will have to choose between trading their #3 pick to the Jets, who have to believe that the Raiders would take McFadden at #4, selecting Glen Dorsey or taking the best pick for them, Matt Ryan.
The ONLY way that Dorsey would NOT be available at #4, in this scenario, would be if ATL took Dorsey and settles for a lesser QB in the second round.
Stay tuned, I'll keep you informed as I find out more.

But i wouldve liked Chris Long. However, Vernon wuold be my choice here.

I would take Dorsey
in that scenario. But I still prefer we nab Long, but now that’s highly improbable.

Instantly, D-Line would be a strength. Then again, Kiffin sounded like he still has faith in Sands.

But I would have to go with Vernon Gholston if I got to choose…
Please, please, please Al, don’t choose McFadden… he’s a great talent, but we’ve already got great backs. We need defense.

I'm still digging Long over Gholston
Long looks like more of a hard worker and go-getter while Gholston looks like he skates on his natural talent.
I feel like Gholston is in for a rude awakening when he gets to the NFL.

I want Long
because he’s the better player. He’s the more effective pass rusher, and he’s better against the run than Gholston.
