Day Two Open Thread:

Let's use this thread to comment on today's draft.

The picks are already FLYING BY!!!

Detroit - Kevin Smith - Great pick

Rams - John Greco - Toledo

Miami - Kendall Langford - DE - Hampton

Carolina- Charles Godfrey - CB - Iowa

Atlanta - Chevis Jackson - CB - LSU (No Shepard or Washington?)

New England (from Oakland for Mario Henderson) - Traded To San Diego - Jacob Hester - FB - LSU, This pick can hurt us for years to come, but it would be worse if they chose Dan Connor.

Bears - Earl Bennett - WR - Vandy

Baltimore - Tavares Gooden - ILB - Miami, I guess that Connor's high miles are scaring some teams away.

Buffalo - Chris Ellis - DE - VT, This is another great pick for Buffalo.

Kansas City - DAMN!!!!! - JaMaal Charles - RB - Texas, This guy will be the second or third best running back taken in this draft. KC continues to Kick Ass in this draft.

Panthers - Dan Connor - ILB - Penn State, Back to Back third Round steals.

Niners - Reggie Smith - CB - Oklahoma

Chiefs - Brad Cottam - TE - Tenn, Another highly rated player. I am surprised that they didn't go with a receiver. Then again, they will pick again in 6 more picks.

Bungles - Pat Sims - DT - Auburn - They finally did something right. Nice pick. I am betting that they got lambasted for choosing a wide out over Trevor laws in the 2nd round.

New England - Shawn Crable - OLB - Michigan, Great pick

Texans - Antwuan Molden - CB - E Kentucky

Philly - Bryan Smith - DE - McNeese St

81) Arizona - Early Doucett - WR - LSU

82) Kansas City - DaJuan Morgan - S - NC State, Another Great pick. This is another great value. I guess you can do that when you need an entirely NEW team.

83) Tampa Bay - Jeremy Zuttah - OG - Rutgers

84) Falcons - Harry Douglas - WR - Louisville, I was hoping that he'd fall.

85) Tennessee - (These guys NEED Manningham) Craig Stevens - TE - Cal

86) Baltimore - Tom Zbikowski - WOW, he will fit perfectly in Baltimore. This is the kind of pick that shows me WHY nobody is trading for current players. They are filling their rosters with players that they can mold into their scheme. ZZZZ will be a knockout artist in Baltimore's scheme.

87) Detroit - Andre Fluellen - DT - Florida State

88) Pittsburgh - Bruce Davis - OLB - UCLA

89) Houston - Steve Slaton - RB - WV, this will be a great fit for Schaub and the Texans who desperately need this type of player.

90) Chicago - Marcus Harrison - DT - Arkansas, FANTASTIC PICK!!!

91) Green Bay - (13 More Picks Until The Raiders Are On the Clock) - Jermichael Finley - TE - Texas

92) Dallas - (My Money is on Manningham or Caldwell going here) - Traded to Detroit - Cliff Avril - DE - Purdue

93) Colts - (11 picks Until Raider Time...I am wishing for two names...I'll keep them quiet) - Phillip Wheeler - ILB - GT

94) New England - Kevin O'Connell - QB - SDSU

95) Giants - Mario Manningham - WR - Michigan, CRAP!!!! That is who I wanted in Silver and Black!!!! he will be a great Giant.

96) Washington - Chad Rinehart - OG - Iowa

97)  Bungles - Andre Caldwell - WR - Florida, Another great pick. I wanted this kid. Now i'm getting that look of disbelief.

98) Falcons - Thomas Decoud - S - Cal, Congrats to a great local kid out of Cal.

99) Ravens - Oneil Cousins, G, UTEP - Great Pick

FOURTH ROUND

100) OAKLAND - WOOOO-HOOOO- We traded Up - TYVON BRANCH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! - CB - UConn. This is a terrible, terrible pick. I am pissed. I think it's time to drink.

101) Rams - Justin King - CB - Penn State

102) Packers - Jeremy Thompson - DE - Wake

103) Titans - William Hayes DE

104) Browns - Beau Bell - ILB - UNLV

105) Kansas City - William Franklin - WR - Missouri

106) Baltimore - Marcus Smith - WR - New Mexico

107) Niners - Cody Wallace - C - Texas A&M

108) Kory Lichtensteiger - C - Bowling Green

109) Philly - Mike McGlynn - OG - Pitt

110) Miami - Shawn Murphy - OG - Utah State

111) Browns - Martin Rucker - TE - Mizzou

112) Bengals - Anthony Collins - OT - Kansas The Bengals have had a much better second day.

113) Jets - Dwight Lowery - CB - SJSU - Oaktownsmash must be stoked.

114) Buffalo - Reggie Corner - CB - Akron

115) Tampa - Dre Moore - DT - Maryland, Once again Tampa gets a guy that I wanted.

116) Arizona - Kenny Iwebema - DE - Iowa

117) Philly - Quintin Demps - S - UTEP

118) Houston - Xavier Adibi - OLB - VT

119) Denver - Jack Williams - CB - Kent State

120) Chicago - Craig Steltz - S - LSU

121) Seattle - Red Bryant - DT - Texas A&M

122) Dallas - (My guess is LaVelle Hawkins) - Tashard Choice - RB - GA Tech, WOW, that was GREAT value!!!

123) Giants - Bryan Kehl - OLB - BYU

124) Skins -

125) RAIDERS -Arman Shields - WR - Richmond - This is looking like it may turn into a Great Pick. I wanted Hawkins, but the more I look at Shields, the more I like his upside.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/arman-shields?id=2706

He was a top performer in EVERY category at the Combine.

http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/arman-shields?id=2706

Many are saying that this is an AL Davis pick, but I think that he is just an undervalued player.

Can’t believe Oakland didn’t trade with Chicago. They need a corner. they would’ve taken Washington. I don’t know.

Fabian is better than that. Fabian was just a pick Al Davis forced the raiders to get.

My BEST Players Still Available:

Frank Okam – Drawback, he may be 375 lbs
Red Bryant – I love his motor and nastiness
Erin Henderson – Sure tackling ILB that can free up Morrison and Howard to play
in the passing game.
Lavelle Hawkins – Perfect receiver for our passing game
DJ Hall – My second choice for receiver
Adrian Arrington – May be the best WR left

They Take A Guy

who is coming off an injury. GREAT. Are they fuc*ing stupied in the draft room. Lavelle was available, ranked higher than Arman. He was also ranked higher than Dexter Jackson. GREAT PICK draft room.

I like Shields:

he can be one of the best receivers taken in this draft. His measurables are through the roof.

He is taller, faster and he also jumps higher AND faster than almost all of the wideouts.

I’m looking for some tape on him.

He is coming off injury

That’s why I don’t like him. Like I always say, who knows.

FILE - In this Sept. 4, 2009 file photo, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Shaun Hill aims a pass downfield against the San Diego Chargers during the first quarter of an NFL preseason football game in San Diego. Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
