D-Mac Lines Up Under Center:
Raiders | McFadden's versatility used in practice Saturday
Sat, 10 May 2008 21:35:48 -0700Josh Dubow, of the Associated Press, reports Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden worked primarily at tailback in his first day of practice with the team. He showed off his variety of skills Saturday, May 10, when he lined up as a wide receiver at times, ran the ball out of the I-formation and worked at quarterback in some individual drills.
It looks like Lane is already having fun with his new toy!!!

I heard Lane on
Raiders broadcast last night, and he said that no way would McFadden ever be used as a QB. I think they were just fooling around yesterday. That is not to say that he might not throw a pass or two a la LD. It’s nice having some positive buzz about the Raiders for a change. By the way, whatever happened to the 300 lb. JaMarcus rumors floating around about 6 weeks ago?

they were big lies
he’s just a big quarterback, he’s not fat, it’s just the way his bodies built.

That was my point
It was a big lie like most of the things said about the Raiders during the off season.
If they don’t have anything to write about or talk about, why not say something negative about the Raiders? That is always good for a 3 day ESPN breaking news story. When the Raiders lose a game this year, there will be “breaking news” about Kiffin being fired. I just don’t understand, the Raiders were in the Super Bowl about 5 years ago but to listen to ESPN harp about the “dysfunctional Raider organization” you would think the Raiders have always been losers. If the RAiders win 10 games this year which I think they will, I wonder what ESPN will do. Surely they can find another “sad sack” organization to talk about.

probably Detroit
unless they somehow succeed. Or maybe even the Dolphins, or right that’s where Dan Marino came from. Can’t hate on Dan’s tram.

It’s about time we start having some fun with the offense. McFadden brings a lot to the table and will allow the raiders to do some things that will catch a lot of teams off guard. As the old saying goes, “Just Win Baby”, whatever it takes to get the job done.
