My good friend Rayder K convinced me to do this based on a previous reply. As you all are aware, the Raiders have picked up a handful of UDFA's this offseason, and there are many I'm interested in. While UDFA's don't usually make the final cut (none did last year) this year's crop looks promising. Here are a few I think/want to make the final cut:

Darrell Strong-TE Pitt. Sounds like a solid TE for Pitt and put up good numbers at the combine. Experts put him as a high-priority free agent. Has been reported as being more of a blocker with decent receiving skills at the NFL level, he could help with run/pass blocking and would be a nice compliment to Zach Miller over John Madsen who put up less than spectacular stats in Oakland. Overall, he sounds like a bigger, slightly slower, better blocking Miller. Look for him to make final cut.

Brandon Rodd- OL Ariz. St. Has got glowing reviews at the rookie camp. If anything I see him as a backup OT at either right or left. Can also play guard making him very versatile lineman. He's nimble and intelligent enough to play zone. Rodd received Pac-10 honors in a division with solid O-Lines. I think he could make it.

Ronnie Pentz- LB Unknown college Could have sworn there was video of him an older post but I can't seem to find it. Anywho, Ronnie is a fast run-eating LB. For his small size he lays down big hits. In rookie minicamp, he got the sole turnover on day 1 and got good reviews from Kiff and Rob. Don't expect him to add to the Law Firm's pass D, he doesn't cover particulary well and never really gets to the QB. His main role/talent is reading the RB and O-Line to tell where the RB is going with the ball and reading their moves. I expect to him to back up Hartwell/Williams.
