Dumb Donkey

Broncos WR Brandon Marshall likely to be suspended this week.

NFL sources said Denver wide receiver Brandon Marshall will be suspended this week for three games for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy.

The suspension could be dropped to two games if Marshall agrees to undergo counseling during his suspension.

Marshall is due in court in September for a trial on a drunken driving arrest from October 2007. He as been arrested three times in the past year.

Ahahaha I love what is happening to the Donkeys so far this year. Now no Donkey fan can say Walker was a bad pickup for us because their star receiver that "replaced" him  won't even be playing in the season opener against us or possibly in weeks 2 and 3. Thank you Brandon Marshall for making my day better!

It's Funny

How the Donkey fans say how the Raiders are criminals. The Raiders get a bad rep because of our past but we have some real stand up guys in the lockerroom. It’s typical of them to point the finger and not see whats going on in their own locker room.

So let's add this up

1. Marshall’s incident

2. Lynch is practically giving up

3. Cutler has diabetes (though that really isn’t anything good at all)

Brandon

is a bust. They need to kick that guy out. Nothing but trouble. I am glad he is stiring the pot and getting booted for the home opener.

The Cutler diabetes thing is only an issue if he can’t handle it. Plenty of world class athletes have diabetes an they deal with it. I am sure he will have the best medical care money can buy.

Bring on the donkeys!

The best part is

Donkey fans think they’ll sweep us and make the playoffs. They’ll be lucky if they go 5-11 after all that has happened. If Bailey gets hurt then they will go 3-13 ahaha.

Don't get too excited yet...

If BMarsh is suspended…there is a good chance that Denver will appeal which would delay when the suspension would be served.

by UnarmingMermaid on Aug 5, 2008 12:52 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

It

will only prolong the inevitable. If he does and he is convicted after his court date for DUI then that can come back and bite you during the crucial part of the season. Not only the 2 games but whatever the commish decides for the conviction.

by Raider76 on Aug 5, 2008 1:07 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

I don't know what the deal is with that...

...because supposedly Goodell is taking the DUI into account with the current ruling, so I don’t think he’ll go back and change the ruling regardless of the outcome. Traditionaly the first DUI is a slap on the wrist from the league.

The appeal would be designed to reduce the games suspended…with the added benefit of delaying the suspension (as the second half of our season is much easier).

by UnarmingMermaid on Aug 5, 2008 1:58 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I think

if he files an appeal and gets convicted than Goodell will make the penalty much worse because he gave him a fair ruling.

Cant do it

Per the CBA, a first time DUI conviction gets you put into the substance abuse program

Making fun of BMarsh when you signed Javon Walker to a $55 million contract?

Puhlease! At least our guy will be effective this year, even with a two game suspension.

Better

Than saying I got abducted from my hotel room in Vegas, when god and everyone is on cameras there. Then trying to quit in training camp

lol, good point!

Lying about a McDonald’s bag is not quite as ridiculous as lying about being abducted, robbed, and held hostage.

At least

it showed some imagination. A McDonalds bag come on!

I'll give you that...

Still. I’ve never been happier to have BMarsh instead of Javon Walker. ;)

I'd rather have signed Javon for 55million

than have given up a second round pick for him.

I believe that pick turned into Greg Jennings…..... Wow, I’m just really, really sorry.

In Oakland...not Denver. I'll be there to witness Champ Bailey punk your young QB. ;)

Then I’ll watch my young QB shred your defense with long bombs to Sheffler and Royal.

Wishful

thinkingon your part but you don’t have to worry about Jamarcus because you will be getting a steady dose of D-Mac, Fargas and Bush.

Wait until you see Eddie Royal....

D-Mac is going to get shown up!

Thats just dumb

Why are you guy’s so adamant about such an obviously bad pick? Is Maurice Clarett going to show up McFadden too?

by RaiderPete on Aug 6, 2008 5:15 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Ha

Last time I checked Javon has been to a pro bowl and Brandon Marshall hasn’t. Hopefully for you Donkey fans, Marshall won’t break a hip on a McDonald’s bag before the season. Javon is a proven star and will be playing at a pro bowl level again now that he has a good quarterback throwing to him again like he did in Green Bay. Walker was never “abducted” either. He was betrayed by his friend he was with that got greedy and shameless. Eddie Royal is a bad pick as you Donkeys will soon realize. Asomugha and Hall will make Bailey and Bly look like kids out there when it comes to playing cornerback. Good luck with Lynch too by the way. He doesn’t even want to be a Donkey any more because he knows you guys are going nowhere fast. Oh and what’s your other safety’s name? Ahh it doesn’t matter.
