Oakland Raiders Bad News: Tommy Kelly Could Face Suspension For DUI:
http://mvn.com/nfl-raiders/2008/09/16/tommy-kelly-could-be-facing-suspension/
KNBR 680 in San Francisco is reporting that Tommy Kelly was arrested late Sunday night for driving under the influence. He posted bail later Sunday night.
This could be a problem in that a dui is a violation both the NFL’s code of conduct and substance abuse policies. Kelly could be facing a possible suspension from the league. Considering the Raiders only have three defensive tackles on the roster, this could be a major blow to the defense.
What a DUMMY!!! Fortunately, being his first slip-up, he may just get a slap on the wrist. It is the second run in that necesitates a 4 game suspension.

I don't know if the NFL would do anything this year
Seems like the NFL has been somewhat slow on handing out punishment, so I am guessing it may be a fine or a 1 game suspension next year.

Adjudication
I doubt the NFL will do anything to these players until their criminal matters are adjudicated. The NFL wants to punish players who are actually involved in criminal misconduct, not simply those accused of it. I think the NFL grossly mishandled the Pacman Jones situation, suspending him simply for having some legal issues lingering over his head.
If the NFL were to punish a player before their legal issues had been adjudicated imagine some overzealous police officer arresting a visiting player on some bogus charge in order to get that player suspended for an important game later in the season.
