Signs the Broncos are scared about 09/08/08
The Bronco's today have signed DT Josh Shaw to their squad. Yes the same Josh Shaw that we had just cut. Shanahan is definately not happy with the players he has so he is trying to add more defensive tackles in an effort to stop the run. You can argue that he signed Shaw to get inside info on what the Raiders are going to do with D-Mac but I also see it as a sign that he feels they still have problems stopping the run. They had about 10 defensive lineman on their roster before they signed him. Is this a sign? I want to know what people think.
Shanahan don't be scurred!

I don't think it's to get the inside on us
I think it’s so he can strengthen the depth of a weak defensive line.

Sorry!
I would never put anything past the Rat Shanahan. Their D-Line is weak but I wouldn’t put it past him to do something like that.

lol....he'll be cut September 9th when BMarsh joins the team. lol
I am sure you’ll love to have Ashley Lelie…never though a team would be desperate to pick up the garbage cut by the 49ers of all teams. lol

btw
What makes you think we didn’t sign Shaw only to pick his brain about your Raiders?? lol He’ll get cut on Tuesday to make room for Bmarsh, but we’ll use the information gained from him to game plan against you. I’m surprised you guys didn’t think of that angle. :P

Why, though, would Shaw know what D-Mac is doing?
He is a defensive lineman, and therefore he would probably know most about what the raiders are doing defensively. You do have a new defensive coordinator, do you not? And he is likely to be running a new system? Like Zappa said before me, Shaw is roster fodder who will cost next to nothing, be inactive Monday, and then cut after Marshall returns from his suspention.

No
we don’t have a new defensive coordinator. It’s still Rob Ryan who has been successful with limited talent. Now that he has some on the defensive side we’ll be blitzing more and getting even more picks than ever before. Asomugha and Hall will resemble Lester Hayes and Willie Brown. Not to mention Gibril Wilson will be the new Jack Tatum. We will easily sweep the Donks this year and should’ve last year but the rat Shanahan started a new dirty way to win by calling timeout after he kicks the ball. I hope that win felt legit to you losers ehehehe.

Fair enough. I was misled. And you know something I think?
I think that all raiders fans on sanbpride have a built in trash talk generator that creates generic Bronco hating comments. You all sound the same. “(Player X) is the new (Old time player Z) so the Raiders will win the Super Bowl.” Gibril Wilson is not the next Jack Tatum. He is a slightly above average safety who was able to be freed up and make a lot of plays in New York by playing behind a superb front seven. Yes, he would probably compete for a starting job in Denver, so don’t use that as an argument. I already know. See, I’m already a step ahead of you guys.
Another thing you have a tendency to do is fall back on your copius amount of nicknames and your success in the 1960’s and 70’s. For example, “Omg the raiduz will sweepz teh shanara becuz we has teh RAIDER NATION and we has bettur recurd aginst u guyz lolz” is not an argument. You must valitate your statements with known facts before you make a statement. And for the record, Lane Kiffin being 1-1 against the Broncos in his career is not good. At that pace, he would finish 8-8 every season. (I already know that is better than the Broncos were last season, so before you vomit that out, consider this: would you be satisfied with mediocrity EVERY year?)
The last call is falling back on something the Broncos did that you think is funny and lambasting it to the point of ridiculousness. Right now it is the signing of Josh Shaw, who has less than a snowball’s chance in Hell, which you Raider fans are sure to be familiar with, of being active Monday night, or even on the team in two weeks. I know, I know, we’ve been doing the same thing with Ashley Lelie and Javon Walker, but the fact that you signed BOTH of them is just REALLY, REALLY funny to us. You will understand in a couple of years.
That’s all I have, and if any of you Raider fans have made it this far in my comment, congratulations because you are a better person than I thought you were. :)

And Bronco fans
swear Jay Cutler is the next John Elway.
And for the record, Lane Kiffin being 1-1 against the Broncos in his career is not good. At that pace, he would finish 8-8 every season.
That would mean we played you 8 times a year. Typical Bronco fan swears he is better than everybody else. Talk about Raider fans.

Yes, another.
It is a word used to imlply that something from or occurring in the past is or will be happening again. As in, the Broncos had a great quarterback in John Elway, and now they have another in Jay Cutler.

No, I meant that if he were 1-1 every 2 games
then you will finish .500. Would you really want to be .500 against your biggest rival anyway? I personally would like to bury you and the Chiefs and the Chargers and the Patriots every time we play you.

Makes no sense than.

Yes, because you can totally edit comments.
After this I’m done. I’m not coming back until Tuesday to see what you have written about the game. No more comments on SandBPride, because trying to talk football with you all is pointless.
OK, this is how I see it. You seem to be happy, or at least satisfied, with the fact that Lane Kiffin is 1-1 career against the Broncos. He was .500 against us. I took the fact that you are happy with being .500 against the Broncos and applied it to a whole season. Apparently you can’t wrap your minds around that. I was not implying that the Raiders would finish 8-8. I was saying that if you are happy being .500 against the Broncos, would you be happy being .500 against everyone else, too? I’m trying to tell you that being .500 is not good. We were below .500 last year. We were not good. It sucked. I definately don’t want to go .500 against you this year. I want to sweep you. I hope that you want to sweep us back. Otherwise it would not be a rivalry.
I don’t think I can put it any more clearly than that. I can see how my initial comment could have been misleading if you didn’t make the connection I was implying. Sorry. Didn’t edit. Good day. See you Tuesday.

Those were your own words.
Kiffin is 1-1 in his first year as Raider’s coach. You are assuming that he is going to stay .500 against the Broncos. You applied it to the season.
I’m trying to tell you that being .500 is not good. We were below .500 last year. We were not good.
Anyways if you meant to say something else you can always hit reply after your comment and write what you really mean.

Anyways
I can’t take everything you say seriously based on your fanpost on MHR today.
I was doing my Algebra yesterday while listening to MHR Radio when a thought occurred to me. Just as Guru was playing the Lane Kiffin interview, I came up with an analogy for Al Davis that the radiers fans can possibly relate to. Al Davis is like one of those guys that only cares about getting “some”. Hopefully you know what I am alking about.
You know those guys that go out and buy $250 cologne, drive a brand new Mercedes and wear $80 Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeved crew neck henleys , thinking that alone will be enough to get them “some” without them bothering to cultivate a relationship?

He is just spewing the same Bronco
garbage. The Raiders have horrible fans, they have been horrible the past 5 years. None of us have posted the lame comments that he said we have. We have seen on MHR guys compare current players to past but in typical Bronco fashion he ignores that.

Signing a guy to spill his info on an opponent and then cutting him the day after the game really is an indication that we’re scared. We’re shaking in our boots. You guys really are delusional. I think you’ve been taking whatever al davis takes on a daily basis. You are a one-dimensional offense that will be laughably easy to stop. Have fun on Monday…I know I will.

Signs the faders are scared!!!
Uhhhmmm….let’s see! Oh yeah! You have ONE, count ‘em, ONE fan post about the Broncos v faders game. It would seem you don’t want to talk about it! Now that IS an indication of fear. No front page article…and onle ONE fanpost. I’m sure more will pop up after I write this…but admit it, If anyone is scared it’s YOU!
Broncos fans are clearly excited. We have a couple of front page articles and several fanpost related to this game….some fanpost were months ago. That’s not a sign of fear my friends…it’s a sign of smelling blood in the water.
People don’t want to talk about something they’re afraid of!!! I’d say you have good cause.
by UnarmingMermaid on Sep 3, 2008 1:32 PM PDT 0 recs
That's becasue we usually
don’t talk about a game until like two days before. This game is ours, I have no doubts about it. The Broncos don’t have b-marsh or the infamous Broncos home field advantage.

All I see
is Donkey fans ranting on and on about-
1. Saint is the only one holding the fort for us
2. “You guys better get ready for your first round pick”
3. “You better put on you Niner’s gear.”
4. “Raiders Suck and the Broncos are the best”
5. “Fader Nation is overrated”
6. and nothing but talking smack talk about the past which has no relevance to MN’s game…. If you Donkey Fans are trying to make a point, then you guys are not doing a great job of it…
I have a proposition for you… how about you go post you crap (because that’s what it is) over on MHR, and then IF you win, you can come back here and say…“We told you so”, until then don’t talk smack

And we keep saying the same things about you...
And we will do the same thing next time we play, and forget about it all in between. Such is the nature of things. A little trash talk never hurt anybody. Like someone said earlier, trying to get Broncos fans and Raiders fans to cooperate is like herding cats, it just won’t happen. I personally feel like I’ve flipped enough sh*t for the weekend, and I’m through here. I would wish you good luck, but I wouldn’t really mean it, so good, um, have fun or something. :)
