Raiders sign Ben Troupe
The raiders just signed Ben Troupe and released John madsen. Troupe is a better blocker and a good receiver. With Troupe in, miller is freed up to make plays in the passing game. This one move improves our two weakest areas of offense. Troupe's blocking improves the O-Line, and Miller being liberated from blocking improves the receiving corps. Good move Al, in fact great move. now keep Kiffin and I'll be happy.

It's unlikely
he’ll play Sunday, but if it opens Miller from here on out, then way to go.

You
don’t have to talk down to me cuz I stated something obvious. Sorry. I was stating it’s a good thing we got him. And what makes you think he won’t be there for the SD game?

sorry I apologize
I didn’t mean to talk down. I cordially apologize for any offense.

Tony Stewart
should’ve been released, not John Madsen. He made a dumb play against the Chiefs last week by touching a bouncing punt which the Chiefs recovered. Madsen was one of our few bright spots on offense last season and Stewart does nothing but play special teams and can’t even do that right….I like Ben Troupe but Madsen was good too.

In retrospect his touch was a Brilliant move:
The way the rule translates is:
Once the coverage team touches the ball, it is favor game for the offense without risk of losing posession, because even if the offensive player touches it and it is recovered by the coverage team the return team has an option of whether or not they want the ball from where it was first touched by the coverage team or where it was recovered after the touch.
Had Stewart been able to pick the ball up and get us 5 or 10 more yards, then he would have gotten us out of the shadow of our own end zone.
i too was creaming at the TV and saying he should be fired until I learned the rule.
But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."
