My brother has never been to a pro football game and he has been a Raider fan since he was knee high to a grasshopper, as I have been a Bronco fan since I was that tall.  I bought both tickets several months ago because I wanted my brother and I to enjoy this game together.  Win or Lose I plan on having a blast... 

The reason for this post though is because I got a call this afternoon from my little brother telling me to go to a place called "Sports Fever" in Sacramento.  He is from the Redding area, so I was sort of confused and went there right after work.  My little bro, in all his wisdom knew that the only Bronco jersey I owned was an orange Elway jersey that I had gotten back in '94 I think.  The thing barely fit, the letters were falling off and it was in truly bad shape.  So when I got to Sports Fever, the guys pulls out a 49er ass pad to sit on at the game and I looked at him like he was retarded.  I said no thanks, I don't want it and went and called my brother intent on chewing him out for having me drive all over town for a fargin' 49er ass pad.

Anyways, apparently another dude with my first name called in to reserve this 49er ass pad and the teller tried to pawn it off on me.  lol  The mistake was corrected and out came a brand new vintage Orange John Elway jersey, whose quality was about 100 times that of the cheap ass jersey I bought 14 years ago.  My little brother thought it wouldn't be right for him to roll up in his brand new McFadden jersey with me wearing that tattered ole Elway jersey.  I will wear this jersey once, this Monday to tailgate and to take pictures.  After which, I will retire the jersey in order to keep it pristine and I will go back to wearing my ole orange jersey.

I just wanted to share that with ya'll since I thought it was a pretty cool thing for my little brother to do.  I know he reads this site and MHR, but as a lurker, so I just wanted to send this shout out and say thank you from the bottom of my heart(even though I already did via phone!).  And if he thinks this will change my mind about making him the sober driver, he's got another thing comin!  I would wish you guys luck, but that would be a lie and an insult to your intelligence.  You'll have to settle with "Here's to no one getting killed or paralysed!" on Monday Night!
