Walker and Edwards ready to go on MNF

Javon Walker and Kalimba Edwards practiced today. Edwards ran through some defensive drills and didn't show any signs his groin was hurting him. Walker caught passes but didn't do any running (precaution). Walker said he is ready to go. Monday can't come soon enough. We will see what type of team we really have.

This is good news because

Walker will be a huge impact player in this game. He will be making plays and freeing up the other receivers when the Donks double cover him. If Jerry Porter could burn Bailey 1 on 1 all those times then Javon will definently burn Champ for some deep passes.

I think Edwards is a better player than Richardson right now. He has more experience and can rush the passer. Richardson is just a run stopper and that’s what we got Kelly and Warren for. I think we should’ve kept Spires on the active roster and just put Trevor Scott on the practice squad for now until he’s ready. Hopefully it works out though because our defensive and offensive line will be our downfalls this year they don’t step up.

For some reason I actually like the kid. I saw some good things from him in the preseason but he does need to put on some weight. He gets bullied around too often.

I like Edwards

at first i was really hating this move, but he, in my opinion, will be an even better nickel rusher then Clemons

Get used to this scenerio Oakland fan, Walker misses most practices, says he’s fine come game time, then complains about sitting on the bench because he can’t run, then collects game check for nothing.
