ESPN'S Mort says he's sorry
here's an article you should check out. make sure you read it all the way to the end. the writer poses some good questions.

in my view, mortenson should have done this on air prime time news conference style. i haven't had a whole lotta love the espn the past few years or for any east coast news team for that fact.
in addition, just like in football, everyone should be held accountable. in my opinion mortenson falls way short

If Mort says it
it’s a lie. Even if he is apologizing, it’s still a lie. Everything he says is a lie, even his apology.

If he apologizes for lying and is lying, does that mean he's telling the truth (a double negative)?

not necessarily
a double negative is I have not done nothing wrong. Lying about apologizing for lying means he’s not really apologizing, just making it out to be. Which mort probably is to make himself appear better to his public. A smart move by him that most won’t pick up. Who knows? He could be truly sorry but I highly doubt that. This is a public relationship move by him which once again makes Mort appear to be the good guy. Well played Chris, well played.

for what
It’s about performance and results. If neither has occurred over the last 5 years, then apologize. Mort is not in that position. Get off the "talk" problem. Stop kissing A.

oh and
Mort can say anything he wants and Al can have any press conference he wants.

No one
is saying they can’t. But the Raiders deny everything the press says and then it happens any way.
