Knapp Joins Seattle as Offensive Coordinator
Per Adam Schefter, Greg Knapp has finalized a deal with the Seattle Seahawks to join Jim Mora's staff as the new offensive coordinator.
We all pretty much expected this, though I thought there was a chance that Mike Singletary would beat Mora to it and hire Knapp to replace Martz in San Francisco.
Schefter also states that Knapp isn't the only Oakland assistant likely to leave while the coaching staff is turned over. Not a huge surprise, nor is it really that bothersome.
This of course leads to the natural question: Who would you like to see be the Raiders' next offensive coordinator and why?

Offensive Coordinator Position
A guy I’m interested in is Terry Robiskie, who was the wide receivers coach for the Atlanta Falcons. He has done a good job with Roddy White and Michael Jenkins over there. I really enjoyed what the Falcons did this season, and I think he’s capable of improving the offense over here. Other than that, James Lofton seems like an in-house candidate for the job.

Part of me sees Gillbride and Fasell teaming up in some way:
I am not really for that, but I just can’t shake it right now…Someone help me!!!
But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."

Somehow I am seeing it as Fasell as GM'ish and Gillbride as HC with Cable as OC

That was his middle duty this season:
In between HC and O-Line coach

Fasell won't be
GM. And if Cable doesn’t get HC here, other teams have reportedly been interested in him. So don’t expect him to stick around here if he’s not HC.

Jeff Jagodzinski
Jagodzinski was fired by Boston College for interviewing with the Jets. He then was interested in becoming the OC with Mora in Seattle but that went to Knapp.
As the offensive coordinator for the Packers before being hired in 2007 at Boston College, Jagodzinski coached quarterback Matt Ryan to a phenomenal senior season, and we know how Ryan looked right away this year as a rookie.
He is certainly worth a look.

I don't care who it is
BUT if they suck, they will be relieved of their play-calling duties. Greg Knapp knows this well. I’m pulling for Gilbride though.
