I doubt this is the whole story, but it certainly looks bad for Cable and I think he deserves whatever he gets:

More than anyone else I think we have to blame Al. You don't put someone under your head coach like that, of course it's going to lead to problems. Though this level of felony assault is allllll Cable. What an ass.
Maybe jail time will help.
