Official JokeMarcus Russel Earring Thread.
Just a thought, but...
Every time I see JokeMarcus take his helmet off, or the camera pans to him standing on the sideline, that MASSSSSSIVE diamond earring jumps out and knocks me in the cornea.
What the ***. WHen I see something like that I think "Wannabe."
Actually play well and "arrive" JokeMarcus, before you try to LOOK like you have "arrived."
Because, sad to say it, I have NEVER seen a worse starting QB EVER in the league, and I had to endure the Bubby Brister era in Pittsburgh.
THAT is saying something, Oaktown fan.
What a joke this dude is. Cable, grow a pair and freaking bench the waste of roster space already.

JaMarcus Russell's Style

JaMarcus Russell is hanging out with Fat Joe (above) of the Terror Squad.

You can see JaMarcus Russell’s fat diamond earring.

“Does he own the jet, too?”

Your space bar seems to be working just fine...

Nice comeback.
Problem is, it’s better than any type of “comeback” your starting franchise #1 pick QB has in his entire body.
Hows that space bar action?

It's better than your ability to use the "reply" function...

That's Interesting
It’s interesting because, well, it doesn’t really make sense.
Besides, Russell has a comeback win this season.

Except that the winning TD
was a rush by McFadden.

Russell
He’s the quarterback that led the drive. Without him, McFadden can’t run it in.

This Post
It’s better than five hundred new Russell posts. I don’t have a problem with official threads.

I think this makes it official
You know there have been too many JaMarcus Russell fanposts when there is one about Russell’s earring and it’s by a Steeler fan.

Yeah
it’s a waste. It doesn’t open up any new information to argue, so it’s a non-productive thread.

Jamarcus Is a Good QB
Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.

Well it helps make a good QB
When the O-Line is injured and you get 2 seconds to look over a field to “try” and find rookie WR in the Best D in the League. I mean I won’t put this whole loss as J-Russ fault yes he did contribute but it was a team sucking and we lost as a team. And I think that Losing as a team is an Improvement.

He still
shows no leadership quality or pocket presence. Yeah, the team as a whole sucks, but that doesn’t make Russell any better of a QB.

Honestly, the earring thing is just stupid
Stupid for JaMarcus to wear it and stupid for people to complain about it.
On one hand, games aren’t a time to make a fashion statement. On the other, who cares what he does with his money? I just wish he’d perform.

I will say that what he does need to understand...
…and refuses to realize is that if he plays consistently like he did at the end of last season, Raider Nation would chip in and BUY HIM a new pair of diamond earrings.

Yeah and if he dosen't the fans might rip the earring off him

Question is
Who’s going to be the first to start a “I hate Gradowski” thread when he finally gets the reigns and proceeds to remind us that he’s also a bust.
by rightnasty on Oct 13, 2009 6:07 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
We all know he's not the answer
My point in benching Russell was to show him that his job isn’t safe and maybe he should start caring a little more and working to be become a leader.

Yeah
I’m hoping if he sits on the bench for awhile, he’ll get better like Orton did after he got benched in favor of Grossman. Not that he’s great, but he definitely got better somehow. I never expected him to outlast Grossman and Griese in Chicago.

I Hate that stupid Earring soooo much.....
I always yell at my TV when he takes off his helmet. It used to be that Oakland would let you be who you want and act like you want as long as you performed on the field. But he’s NOT performing, you can even make the reasonable argument that he’s not even playing football.

I agree.
Guys, I’m a die hard Raiders fan… I bleed silver and black… But I have to agree here. Now I haven’t given up on JaMarcus 100% yet, and I know it’s not entirely his fault… but c’mon. He stands on the sidelines with his gigantic bling bling earrings in and his stupid mohawk trying to look like he is somebody when he’s proven nothing yet. He’s had a few good games, he’s had a few AWFUL games, and he’s had several mediocre games… But until he can be a consistent leader on this team I think he should have to take out the stupid earrings, shave off the ’hawk and learn to be a quarterback.
