Eagles Fan's Question....
Sup guys im a Eagles fan and i come in peace. Just came in to get a Raiders fans perspective of this weeks match-up. Wanted to know what you guys think is going to happen, my cousins a Raider fan and he expecting another blowout, its a home game so at least that going your way. I think this team has serious talent, but to me the until the coaching and ownership gets changed we wont be seeing much change.

Predictions
The Eagles will kill the Raiders. We don’t stand a chance. We’ll be called out by even more of the media for being the worst team in the league even if some of the media thinks the Rams are worse. It will be ugly. It will suck to watch it. It will be blacked out on local television markets.

31-6 Eagles
Are the Raiders the worst team in the NFL? Right now I have the Rams,Chiefs and Buccaneers being worse but don’t fret Raider fans we still have 11 games to prove that we’re #32!
Worst Teams in the League
I’d say that the Rams are the worst and we’re right behind them. After that, you can rank the Bills, Browns, Buccaneers, Chiefs and Lions in any order.

I’ll be able to catch on Sunday Ticket though right?

I have the Raiders over the Chiefs because they them in Arrowhead
so I think that gives the Raiders the edge and I’m reading a lot of stuff that makes me think Scott Pioli and Todd Haley weren’t great hires by the Chiefs.
The Buccaneers are terrible across the board and you have to wonder if they think Gruden’s back to back 9 win seasons weren’t all that bad in retrospect as Raheem Morris looks overmatched as a head coach.
Good candidates all.
You have to rank the Chiefs behind the Raiders because of their head to head play. But this subject won’t clear itself up ’til the end of the year and the Raiders will still be involved.
yes
a blow out is probly going to happen, they do have some talent but al davis is a dush bag.
tell your eagles to take it easy on us. but please break j-russel’s legs. we dont want him
Ahah i’ll definitely pass it on. I live here in Southern Cali, and i all i ever see are Chargers fans i despise them, i was so happy to see you guys almost beat them game 1. You sure its gonna be blacked out though?

Local Television Blackout
We were 1-1 and we couldn’t sell out against the Broncos. It was the first time that a Broncos-Raiders game was blacked out since 2003.
Yeah, I’m 99 percent sure the game will be blacked out.

Living out of market and having the NFL package is the only way to see all the
Raider games. That’s just a sad fact of life at this point. Although to be honest having to watch every game of this season might not be good thing.
on the NFL Sunday Ticket
if a game is blacked out, it’s blacked out on the dish too, or at least it was that way last year.
It may be on here though since I live in Eagles country. Yay for me.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
It's not blacked out if you don't live in the market of the home team
and it wasn’t like that for me on Direct TV last year or any of the 5 years that I or one of my friends have had it but I don’t live anywhere near Oakland anymore.
Well then I dunno
I used to go to my friends house to watch it, but it was blacked out all the time. Maybe it was just blacked out cuz I walked in the house and the NFL wanted to fuck me, I don’t know.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
If you were out of market the game should not have been blacked out
that’s not how the NFL package works.
well then I don't know
I do know every time it was blacked out, it was blacked out for him too on nfl ticket. So I guess I’m wrong and maybe I went blind and deaf for those 2 hours.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
He should call Direct TV because that's not how it should work
I wouldn’t have paid $300 if I wasn’t able to get all the Raiders games.
It's not like Direct TV actually films the game
Well it’s his money so I don’t care. I think $300 is insane to pay each year. If I want to see the game I’ll go down to the bar and watch it. Otherwise I’ll just listen on the radio.
I was just saying that if it was blacked out on CBS in that market, we couldn’t watch it @ his house w/ NFL ticket.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
Um I know Direct TV doesn't film the games
but they’re the ones who provide you with the signal and again if you aren’t within the Raiders home zone or the team their playing on the road you should have no problem getting the game.
Direct TV is who he should call if he has problems and I $300 isn’t a bad deal when you consider you get to see any game you want.
but if it's a raiders home game
it’s on CBS out in that area. If it’s blacked out, all DTV does is carry the signal for CBS west. So I was under the assumption from not being able to watch the game at his house due to black outs, that if it’s blacked out in the home area, it’s blacked out also on DTV.
So I dunno. Like I said it’s his money. All I did was bring pizza and a bottle of whiskey.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
Well, that and living here and actually buying tickets to be at the greatest place on Earth:
Then watching the away games at Ricky’s!

Streams
I know that they’ll be available. Against the Broncos, though, I was able to watch the game with NFL Sunday Ticket.

What city do you live in?
I thought that a blacked out game wasn’t available on any outlet in the market in which it was blacked out. If I want want to watch a blacked out game and I’ve sold my tickets, I have to go up to Tahoe or Reno. I’m pretty sure a blackout extends from Monterrey to Sacramento at the least, and, as I said, I thought it included all media outlets, including Sunday Ticket.
Modesto
I live in Modesto. Modesto is 63 miles from Oakland and the blackout is a 75-mile radius.

I know it used to be a 100 miles
all my Raider fan friends in Sacramento would yell and scream to me about the blackouts.
It does seem like Sacramento or Modesto shouldn’t be penalized as they aren’t in the Bay Area.
They should IF the game isn't sold out and they are too lazy:
To drive an hour an twenty minutes to get to Oakland!

He has no leadership, he doesn’t have work ethic, he doesn’t want to progress, in fact he is the definition of complacent.
So please show us how he is a good QB?

Let me just say that anyone who is a Raiders fan at this point in time is a true fan in every sense of the word. I applaud you guys for sticking by your team through thick and thin, and hope your franchise turns around soon enough.

You know i dont think weve seen the best of him yet. I think Andy has some serious Wildcat plays ready for him but with this certain part of the schedule we dont need any help from him, its just another weapon to add on. BTW: i was actually rooting for Vick to go to Raiders hed look good in the Black and Silver, although i was pretty happy when he came here too.
by SouthPhilly215 on Oct 13, 2009 8:20 PM PDT up reply actions
Apparently
Dungy, himself, told Vick not to go the Raiders.
But as far as Vick’s career goes and being out of football for 2 seasons, it’s probably better for him that he ease his way back in. I don’t think he’d want to be dealing with this Coliseum crowd right now.
You think Kolb is going to be content to be backing up McNabb or will he be wanting to move on eventually?
I dont think Kolb would want to leave, with all the young talent we have on this team and the trust and support the team has shown him throughout the years. We’ll give him an extension, no doubt, but for now D-Mac definitely the man.

My thoughts are that the defense is MAD...
At the Opposion, instead of JUST the offense, and they will be out to make some plays in front of the hometown crowd.
I think that Tyvon is ready for a break-out game at any point, he is already leading all DBs in tackles.
Nnamdi has got to moved to free safety and Michael Huff to cover corner.
Nnamdi has to be in position to make plays. Especially with a reliable tackling Strong Safety.

WTF????
NO WAY!!!!!
NNAMDI AT SAFETY????
THATS GREAT BUT WHAT THE HELL!!!
i still dont think enough can be done.
they have jackson, there goes what should be nnamdi’s coverage
and then maclin, chris johnsons gonna struggle with him
and the tight end means tyvon has him….
but huff’s been going good at safety. tied for 2nd in pics is pretty dam good for me
BTW: Raiders fans Quinn on the trading block, Raider might be making a push for him.
by SouthPhilly215 on Oct 14, 2009 10:04 AM PDT reply actions
Oh god
Say it ain’t so. Absolutely ridiculous to be trading for a QB when next year’s draft is so deep. We’ll probably have the first or second pick in the draft. A lot of people questioned drafting JaMarcus with the first pick, but who will question us for taking somebody like McCoy.
The Raiders need to do well in the draft. Next year, the year after that, and the year after that. That’s the only way they’re going to build a winning team.
its really effing sad
to have the fans saying their own team gets blown out
but i agree… sorry to say but we arent doin anything at all on either side of the ball….
all i can hope for is for us to at least make it a game….
but i agree we need new management to make good choices…
just sad….
It is sad, but it's true
Especially after the way we played sunday. we were out of that game by the second quarter. we would have lost worse but the giants fell bad for us and on their fifth posetion (after scoring td’s on the first 4 posetions) decided to stop passing the ball eventho they knew we couldnt stop them. they freaking started to run the clock out from the 2nd quarter.
