The Raiders bring back Langston Walker

According to Jerry McDonald, the Raiders have waived injured starting FB Oren O'Neal to make room on the roster for right tackle Langston Walker. Look for Walker to play immediately at right tackle for injured Cornell Green, replacing last week's ineffective starter Erik Pears. Walker doesn't know the ZBS well apparently, but at least he can block.

McDonald reports, that if O'Neal clears waivers he will be reclaimed and placed on the IR.

What a drop for O'neal

Wow, Oren O’Neal was doing really just a short time ago and now he’s dropped from the Raiders… I can’t say that it was undeserved. He just hasn’t hit the hole with much conviction in his blocking…

me too

I was so stoked when I heard he’d been signed. Arguably one of the best lead blocking full backs in the game, that can also catch the ball out of the backfield as well as some of the best tight ends in the game. Was happy to hear Oren was back, but still thought we should’ve kept Lorenzo. Is he still around/available? Is anyone aware? If he was, I wouldn’t be surprised to see us sign him again.

Well, then again, the nation wants that to happen, so it probably won’t…

Sky Walker

Why didn’t they release Javon Walker, they refuse to play him. At least O’Neal would be able to run and block for whatever running back they decide to use. He was on the mend. The raiders need a GM that it!!!!!!!!!! Walker is a good move he at least has experience and he always played with heart.

I bet Bush gets moved to FB

Lawton has his own injury and I believe is day to day. I bet they move Bush back to FB and continue to not use his abilities.

…I know G. Russel has experience at FB, but he just got resigned and will most likely just become second string KR as well as 3rd String RB. Also, Bush has played FB for us.
