The Raiders defense is pressuring and they have got to keep it up!!!

brought up a good point during half time that the Eagles are unprepared.
But I think our team is just hungry and we’re at home. Let’s hope Russell can not throw another pick and keep this performance up.

Eagles, Raiders lose key players
(AP) – 30 minutes ago
OAKLAND, Calif. — Both the Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles lost key players midway through the first quarter of their game Sunday.
Eagles left tackle Jason Peters limped to the sideline with assistance at the 7:20 mark after he blocked Oakland defensive tackle Tommy Kelly and another player rolled up his leg.
He was taken to the locker room for observation on his left knee and was replaced by King Dunlap. X-rays were negative on Peters’ knee.
Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha was poked in the eye but later returned. Asomugha was lying down on a table behind the bench for about 20 minutes being examined by several members of the medical staff. Asomugha was back on the field midway through the second quarter.

I think
that guys like Fargas and Russell make their decisions must faster than the young guys. If you’ve watched Bush and McFadden (before he got hurt) they aren’t very patient when they need to be and sometimes miss the holes when they open early.

Talent IS a problem. No o-line depth, our QB is sub par (we hope he gets better), our receivers are young and inexperienced etc. Very happy to get a win today but we’ve got some holes to fill.

31st in Rush defense (and 31st total) and a lot of that has been coming EARLY in games. We finally did some blitzing today…that did the trick.
if your going to look at stats in regards to the D
the key stat to look at is time of possesion. The D has been on the field for 70% of games this year so of course teams will rack up yards but that is not an accurate representation of how they have played

Unbelievable!!!
I just got home from work and as I live with an Eagles fan and A Giants fan I was expecting the weekly torment as I walked through the door. I was suprised by the erie silence until I checked the scores. Thanks for the win Murphy , Miller, and the D. Hopefully the rest of the team realizes what can happen when you play with heart. We have talent..start using it! Amazing win…thanks as well to Drew Brees, I wonder if he felt he was playing a scrimmage

You know I’ll be talkin’ me some smack if we get back to .500, which seems so much more possible after today.
We get the line healthy, get Chaz back, get McFadden, Bush, and Fargas all healthy together, imagine how scary the defense can be if we play some serious ball control offense.
What a difference a week can make!
