Raider Conspiracy Theory
Still high off last weekend's win, I was trying to convince a friend of mine to go to the Jets game. I was telling him whatever he wanted to hear that "we turned the corner", "our D will come through", "Chaz is back and Jamarcus will shine", "Kris Jenkins is out", "Sanchez isnt Mcnabb", "we found our winning formula"... Then I brought up the point that "Al Davis knows something we don't".
Al knows a thing or two about football... after watching a documentary on ESPN about the "USFL" I thought about how Al Davis was a part of it and how today, the "UFL" today is doing the same exact thing! So here's some random thoughts:
- Ive read reports that the Burgess trade was apart of the Seymour trade that included the Raiders getting a 2010 3rd and 5th rounder and NE getting 2011 1st rounder. Burgess hasnt done much but have 9 total tackles and 1 sack all year long. And we all know about Seymour.
- Possible player lockout (link) in 2011 due to CBA expires after this season. Unless owners are willing to have an "uncapped season" with teams like Dallas and Redskins outbidding everyone for FA's.
- Now... how does that affect that 2011 pick if there isnt a season? I dont know but I think Al Davis knows something we dont
- 2010 Draft will be flooded with talent due to the possible "draft pay-scale" (link) coming in 2011.
What do you guys think?

Do you guys not think that Al Davis won’t be a contender for free agents if there is an uncapped season?

Not after the 2008 debacle...
I’d rather pay top dollar for a superbowl winning coach. Knowing AD’s history, I doubt that will happen.

Which current NFL team has the biggest chance to become Mexico City’s team. I notice a big south of the border push by the NFL. I think Jacksonville. It’s a matter of time. That’s my conspiracy.

Al
Al Davis doesn’t even know when dinner time is, he can’t be on the up and up about the 2011 “conspiracy theory” CBA. The NFL is way to profitable to go on strike. I doubt they’re will be an uncapped season either. They will just raise the cap level to appease owners is all. Al is a legend of the game, but his time has passed and this team needs new direction. It’s getting there but it’s not there yet.

Al Davis/ Raider Conspiracy Theory
I’ll tell you this…
Never, Never bet against Mr. Davis….
He may very well be advancing in age… Duh. Many think he’s lost alot of his zest for this game, or perhaps many think, Mr. Davis is still living in the 1960’s… I truly believe, Mr. Davis, is just as shrewed, and calculating, in the football sense, as he ever was.
He ( Davis) knows exactly what he’s doing for his beloved RAAAAADUHS.
