Comcast Red Zone: This Service IS Blowing UP!!! (Sponsored Post)
As you know, the SBN Blogs in Comcast's Areas, including ours, have been asked by Comcast to do weekly write-ups on their new Red Zone Channel.
So, I have decided to track the Raider's performance in the Red Zone on a weekly basis:
Last week was the biggest win of the season for the Silver and Black, but their red zone performance is still horrid!
In fact, last week, the Raiders only reached the Red Zone once, and still scored 13 points! That is amazing in itself, but this team will have to reach the red zone more often if Richard Seymour's prediction is going to come true!
What do you think of our Red Zone performance?

Red Zone Offense
Ok Raiders faithful,
I too think the raiders red zone, lacks imagination… I feel way to often that the raiders try to get down the field, just to set up the 3 points, be satisfied and go sit and rest.
the offensive play calling, needs to be mixed up a little, try calling plays that will catch some of these defenses on their heels… If it doesn’t work… Ok you have the 3 points.
But give these defenses something to think about. Also Ja Marcus must absolutely stop forcing throws into double and triple coverages, he should keep looking for the backs to step up, and give him a check-off, a release valve… even if it’s only a couple yards, it’s far better than an interception, or sack, due to indecision… O-LINE stop with the false starts, this lack of discipline, has costed the raiders many drives, discipline is key. This post comes from a Semi-Pro offensive coach, who like the rest of the Raider Nation, sees this stuff play-out week by week… I was happy with the win against a very potent Philadelphia Eagles Team, last Sunday… Good Luck Raiders against the Jets.

Javon Walker
Coaches, we have a commodity on the roster… He’s very rarely used wide receiver, Javon Walker… It seems to me that you guys lost faith way to early on Javon, I’m talking before his injury… Javon should be opposite Murphy. I’m not saying totally dismiss Heyward-Bey, I would hate to see his confidence level shredded, but Darrius needs some more learning time. We really need Schillens back!!! Jonnie Lee Higgens, could be utilized in some key passing situations… Think about this!!! how bad did Javon tear us up, when he played against us? Now he is us!!!
