The Los Angeles Raiders!!?

I want know what the Nation thinks of the chances.

Star-divide

Its official.Heck, the "Govenator"stamped it himself.Majestic Constuction has recieved the permit to build a stadium in L.A. (City of Industry actually).Several teams are on Majestics radar as possible tenants. One is our Raider team. The stadium is said to seat 78,000 fans.Lots of jobs.Lots of revenue due to the population of Los Angeles alone, forget about L.A. as a tourest destination.Los Angeles has been in dire need of a football team for years now! We need some football trophies to put next to our Lakers,Dodgers,Angeles, and Kings. No offense to my up north brothers, but Al's always been better at building a team in L.A. than Oakland. Like i've said before,"L.A. is AL spelt backward". Lots of good to go around, and yet I keep reading fans against the move!? Why? Whats the reasons? I understand if you got season tickets(by the way,if the Raiders do move,i'll take them off your hands for you),or your a fan like me. But im reading blogs from other crappy teams complaining about having to see the Raiders in primetime, and it kind of fuels me more towards the move, like Pierce did for our guys last week! You feel me? Raiders in Primetime! No FREAKIN blackouts! And with the end of the Player Agreement coming up....I begin to see why AL's still pushing! Still working!   How do you guys feel about?Someone tell Tyvon to ask the guys and get their response,of coarse in those loose,non-specific yet kinda specific way players do on the internet.

Not Gonna Happen!

Al would not move the team back to L.A., and the Raiders are staying in Oakland! The team that I do see moving there, is the Jaguars. People wondered why they were in Jacksonville in the first place, and they are the team that everyone is talking about when it comes to moving.

The only reason you posted this is because you live in L.A.

but sorry there’s no way it’s going to happen!

The Raiders don't fit in LA!

They are a blue collar Oakland team. This is coming from a guy that became a Raider fan while both I and the Raiders lived in LA. I want a new stadium in Oakland for the Raiders to play in. Any other city just doesn’t work.

Why would any city go into business with Al Davis, if they had any other choices?

If the Jaguars are the #1 option for LA then the Chargers are 1a

Wherever I go, that's where I am.

The Raiders aren’t even welcome in LA. The Chargers are moving there.

I never been to a Raider game...

the main reason is because I live in LA, the travel is too long. It has been my long life dream to see the SILVER & BLACK back in Southern Cali, but it less likely to happen. = (

HELL NOO

!!! Being in Oakland gives us a mean spirited look. Plus I would never get to see any games or go to any games. Were staying and if we do move!!!! I will start an Al Davis hater site. We will not move!1

Oakland Raiders Forever!

The Raiders belong in Oakland. They already tried LA and it didn’t work as the whole culture of the team changed for the worse.

Noontide is right the Raiders have blue collar fans and they have had 90% of their greatest success as the Oakland Raiders.

I probably saw 20 games down in LA and the atmosphere was lacking. There were good Raider fans down there but not enough of them and many of the fans were people who drove down from Northern California.

LA is a good sports town for teams that are winning but it’s hard to get a lot of hardcore fans because the weather is nice and there is so many other things to do down there.

LA I’m sure would prefer the Jaguars or Chargers or Vikings and the Rams would even be a better fit as they had more of a history in LA.

I can appreciate the Raider fans who are down in LA wanting the Raiders to go back down there but at the end of the day I think the Raiders belong in Oakland.

THE RAIDERS BELONG TO OAKLAND

If Big Al goes back to LA let him go without the Raider Name.I know he built this team but no matter what Al thinks the RAIDER name belongs to the fans of Oakland. After what Al did to Irwindale(took 10 million taxpayer dollars and ran) do you really think he would be welcome in that area again.L.A. has a great history of sports and they don’t need Al around, with the Lakers,Dodgers and USC why anybody would put up with Al’s crap again is beyond me.L.A. needs its own team with a fresh smell and not the smell of an 80 year old with a dirty adult diaper. The RAIDERS belong to OAKLAND.

this is interesting

I was’nt expecting these responses.LOL,the value of an opinion goes along way….anyway,AL left L.A. because he wanted a new stadium, coliseum is too old.they paid him that money to keep the team there till a new stadium could be built, but his lease with the coliseum was outragous!the money he was paying in rent could have been comparable to a new stadium at the time!politicians, lawyers, and green peace hippies chased AL out of L.A.! I just feel that no team could ever come in here and represent L.A. as a football team better than the Raiders! The Jag-u-offs…..los angeles jaguars?!!! Only in the L.A. Zoo I hope! And to the guys who say the Raiders are a “bluecollar team”now cause there back in Oakland need to check themselves. Ive lived in L.A. most of my life and all I see are BlueCollar folks! they might be brown or black skinned as opposed to up north, but still as hardworking and foolishly dedicated to their jobs! Sure we got stars and stuff, but who do you think make them into their personna? Us bluecollar guys and gals! All I know is that I feel that people in L.A. would respect any other teams out besides the Raiders or those SuperChargers, and it would be really hard for me to pay to see the Chargers! let alone the Jagoffs!

Then...

Oakland can build a new high tech stadium in San Fran and not change the name of Oakland Raiders

haha

More people would attend the games if it was in San Fran.. San Fran is just a Nicer area. Build it like right next to the bay with a nice view of some Sky Scaprers. The coliseum is too close to where the warriors play anyways.

The Raiders is a Southern Cali Team

I hear the rift between Oakland and L.A. but theres always been a rivalry about everything between the North and South for ever – but this is different too the Raiders are the team of California (maybe the whole west coast if they we’re winning) outside of the Great Lakers LOL. The NFL and Al knows that Southern Cali has followers… and the chargers are not welcome in Raider country period. and jacksonville knows nothing about L.A. I think if Al takes his pills and allow this team to get good… The Raiders will return to L.A., because it makes since business wise. Sorry Oakland. Its always about the money!!!

The Raiders deserve a new stadium in L.A.

Oakland cannot support the team ,sorry ,but the truth hurts brothers and others. Oakland can’t even sell out a baseball field to see the Raiders in 2 out of 3 games so far and the 1 game was given an extra 72 hours to sell out.Sad very sad. I live in L.A. and still have gone to 2 games ,including once with my boy in Dodgers jacket. I hit a few games a year, even when we suck, how about you? There are tons of Raiders fans down here ,so come on down Oaktown ,you know you want an excuse to get away and party in style. A chance to get away from the old lady for a day or so,,,priceless!!!!The new stadium is about 10 mins. from my house, everyone is welcome to pool party @ my place to kickoff a new beginning when the Raiders return home to L.A. We have all the goodies you need for a great time BEER,Women,Medical or otherwise,BEER ,BBQ,but don’t forget the Raiderettes, damn hottest in the NFL (even hotter when in L.A.). Peace ,Love & Da RAIDERS

right now I don't think location has anything to do w/ selling out

it’s the fact that we’re horrible.

Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
