Ain't It good Being a Raider
Boy I feel so blessed being a Raider fan I know without a doubt that we are the most dominate and loyal fans. I just make this fan post to acknowledge the meaning of being a true Raider Fan and if that includes bashing Jamarcus Russell or Saying Cable needs to go so be it common ground you are a Raider Fan. Thank you, everyone for being a Raider Fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems I need 75 words to express the way I feel about the Raiders not gonna happen...

Anyone who votes yes needs to be removed from this site. And after a tough loss Me and my dad always joke about being a Patiots fan. Then I say..“Oh Yeah. were real men. Were not allowed to be Pats fans”

I voted yes
Feel free to banninate me. As long as Al Davis runs this travesty of a team, I’m rooting for the Niners.
Hey Al, just go away, baby.

Always will be a loyal Raiders fan
You’re right, we have the greatest fans in football. Also the most haters. Thats why it’s so sweet when we kick their teams ass.

Occasionally I take a break from the team
but I never stop wanting them to win.

well said. when I take the breaks, however, it's generally from football altogether
because I can’t take the pain of being a Raiders fan. Somehow this season has kept me interested in the rest of the league, but it’s getting to be time to take a break again…
Everybody got their benching of Jamarcus, and what we thought would happen, happened. I’ve said for a long time it’s a lot of thing, and Russell has been just the icing on the cake. Tom Fucking Brady would struggle on this team, and that should be apparent at this point. Possibly the worst excuse for an offensive line in the game.

Well....
If the Raiders just gave up then maybe I would leave.
Atleast Davis and coaching staff do what they think is right to
be excellent. It is too bad we have to witness such a young and
immature offense.

we can be proud of the defense
on those first 10 drives or so they’re usually pretty good, but after they’re way too winded.

My one true love...
There is the Raiders then there is every other team. It will always be that way. It was that way when they were in LA, it is that way now that they are in Oakland. They could play in Russia or Iran and it would only be the Raiders. There is something in the silver and black colors that rides behind the eye-patch that binds and forever links me to this franchise. There is something in this history of a rogue team that says “Fuck you we are doing this are way. We don’t care about looking pretty. We don’t care about making friends. We don’t care where we’ve been. We are committed to excellence.”
Obviously, the history and attitude have not always matched the present, but that is identity we all wait and demand for this team to once again attain and when it is we, the Raider Nation, will have the satisfaction that no other could realize because that is the Raider identity. That is the Raider Nation’s identity!
Al Davis takes his knocks, by basically all of us, but the man deserves credit for building and creating this and identity and this franchise we all love.
Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast.

He also deserves credit for almost singlehandedly destroying his team's chances for success
I’m over lauding him for things past. In the NFL it’s all about what you’re doing now, and this shit is tiresome…

I moved to the US in 75..
and being located in the Bay Area I started rooting for the Raiders.. I always loved the Raiders but when they moved to LA I told myself I was not going to allow myself to be blackmailed by Al Davis. Even when he then moved back to the Bay, bcuz he knew there were still a lot of people in the Bay Area he could extort money from. This idea played out for Al , seeing how many idiots paid overinflated prices for PSLs (I find that hilarious!!). Over the years the “atmosphere” at the coliseum has gone downhill as the crowd in general has become more violent (and tried to pass it off as being a “hardcore fan”) and more ghetto in general. I refuse to go to games now or buy merchandise as it puts money in the pocket of Alzheimer Al…still a fan and will watch them and follow them.. but I still expect them to lose every game they play this season bcuz they are garbage from top to bottom … and will not spend a dime on them until Al is rotting 6ft under…

You Can't Unring A Bell
You can’t leave your team if they are truely your team. You could try but it wouldn’t work. Anyone who skips off somewhere else was never 100% in the first place. When they went to L.A. I thought I was done, until the first game of the season once they hit the field I knew that there was no changing it.

How Is It "Good" Being a Raider Fan?
Gee, I guess I’m missing something here…I guess it’s good to be the fan of a team that refuses to change it’s ways, even after earning the league’s worst record over the last 6 or so years. I guess it’s good to be the laughingstock of the entire league. I guess it’s good to watch the team get humiliated on the field week after week. I guess it’s good to get laughed at when people learn you are a Raider fan.
If all of that is good stuff, then I guess I am just drowning in goodness these days.
There is something inside of me that won’t let me walk away from the Raiders as a fan. I guess that makes me a real fan. But that doesn’t mean that I am incapabable of grasping reality, and the reality now is, the organization STINKS. While Al Davis is running things, it STINKS to be a Raider fan.

I think it STINKS too
but I just can’t leave my Raiders. I am getting really sick of bitching about them because Count Chocula (AL) will never relinquish control and we’re stuck with this mess for a while so why bother complaining. I think I am going to minimally root for the Saints and the QB that the Raiders should have and could have signed. Maybe I’ll just stop watching football and do something constructive with my Sundays.

Born black with silver blood
I will never quit on my team! They could come back to L.A. and I will be in the front row talkin big shit to our opposing teams! As for sucking, its not ALs fault,or Cables fault,it all falls upon the guys on the field sunday!AL spends his money to get us talent, its up to them to gel-up and play! I hold Barnes and J-Walruss responsible for this one! I keep thinking the only way for us to turn the soo called corner would be wholesale everyone and start from scratch! Drop those big contract guys like j-walruss,gallery,walker….guys who dont dont shit on sunday!
