Im Done
Hello Raider Nation.. After todays performance I have realized that this team is the laughing stock of the league. I know it has been for years but, I have always denied it. I always thought that they were turning the corner. But that day is no where in the near of distant future.
I want to commend the players who have stuck with this team. I say we give those with a future a chance and trade them away to actual team. Trade Darren McFadden, Zach Miller, Nhamdi Asomuagh, Tyvon Branch Louis Murphy. Darrius Heyward-Bey, Mario Henderson. Kirk Morrison. Thomas Howard and Shane Lechler. Give those who actual have talent a chance to win and be recognized.
Im sorry for my negative mood but its just ridiculous. I will still always be a Raider fan at heart but I just cant take the dissapointment. I will be back in the offseason to talk but for now I will just hope for the best. Al, you are a true Raider, a true legend. But I say this with true heart and love for you.You need to step down.
Sincerley,
Jake

My concern is where was Chaz?
JMarc nor Bruce got him our best WR the ball. WTF
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "You're a rookie"

Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.

I'm right there with ya
just root for your second fave like I am.
Go Vikes (once again, I’ve liked them just as long as I’ve liked the Raiders so no saying I’m a bandwagoner)

So who would you cheer for if the Raider and Vikings played?

Either way he's happy.
That’s a total bliss game for him right there. We’d all be so lucky.

Vikings
because I want Oakland to lose out so they pick first next year and hopefully get a QB.

Ok
What if they were both 10-0.

that depends
has Russell been out with some sort of injury that’s caused this team to go 10-0 and now he’s back and starting?
but in all seriousness, in a situation where I would want the raiders to be winning, I’d root for them. I did in 07 versus the Vikes. And the Vikes are still my second fave.

we'll see how the other games play out.
its a tragedy that fans like us have been rooting for a team that has disappointed us for a few years, and showed no sign of being a playoff calibur team any time soon.
But ive seen signs of hope, ive seen signs of progression. the things we go through, we go through with our team. How bad do you think they feel about all these years? How do you think nhamdi, chaz, and brach really feel? We cheer when they win, but we cry when they loose. that’s PATHETIC!!! GET OVER IT GUYS! All the raiders have are us fans who NEVER give up on them. Cheer for next week and don’t let last weeks game drag on in your head(that’s actually one of belicheks mottos, but i bet you’re sick of those). Put it behind you! Be a FAN!

As much as we Disagree on JRock...
I have to say I really agree with your post man!!! I don’t have no second team!!! Its Silver and Black baby, and that’s all its ever going to be. Hey Nation, as long as AL has breath in his body, we are going to be horrible. Do you think at 80 plus years old this cat even understands whats going on on the field? He probably misreads the scoreboard and thinks were actually winning some games…
It doesn’t matter, just another long season… look on the bright side, we’ve done it 6 times in a row already, what’s another one gonna hurt.
BTW JRock said that the 3 turnovers before the benching were not his fault. (he and Al have been drinking the same Fool-Aid). JRock for MVP!!!!

When you lose at home 38-0
to a team that’s coming off losing 3 in a row with a rookie quarterback there is nothing to feel good about.
I don’t pretend to understand you guys who root for more than one team but I think when the Raiders are your one true sporting love that maybe it’s a little bit harder to take all this losing.
I’ll never give up and I’ll never stop watching but right now this sure isn’t much fun.

Attendance
The game was blacked out in the Sac area but I heard the turnout was awful.

Much too Kind to Davis
Al Davis should go straight to HE**. He is the fool who payed this fat slob with no brains $30 Mil to impersonate an NFL QB. Either Al Davis leaves, or I stop buying season tickets. Apparently, there won’t be many season ticket holders in 2010.

Impersonate an NFL QB?
Russell even sucks at that. He looks nothing like an NFL QB. He looks like an NFL 3-4 DE.

REMIX IS RIGHT
The team sucks, and there is nothing happening right now to suggest that anything is going to get better. This isn’t about just losing games…it’s about an organization and owner that refuse to let go of the past, and insist on continuing to do things that don’t work.
As long as Al Davis runs this team, it isn’t going to go anywhere. That’s the way it is. You can go to the games, you can yell and cheer as loud as you want, but the end result will be the same…failure.
The stadium was half empty today, and I hope it gets more empty in the future. The fans need to hit the Raiders in the pocket book. It’s the only thing left to do, and maybe after Al Davis gets tired of losing money, he will do what he needs to do to win, or sell the team.

Oh, By The Way....
…you have all read by now that Tom Cable has announced that JaMarcus Russell will be the starting quarterback for the upcoming Charger game? Cable said that there is no quarterback controversy! JaMarcus is the man!
It’s stupidity like this that makes me furious with the Raiders. Al Davis knows the guy is a bust, yet he still wants him to play. Don’t think that it’s just because he sunk a lot of money into him…oh no, it’s not that at all. Al still loves JaMarcus because of his strong arm, and his potential to throw the deep pass…you know, all that “vertical passing game” nonsense that became obsolete in the early 80’s. That’s why he’s still around.
But have no fear…if Al finally does realize that JaMarcus isn’t going to work out, he will simply return to the NFL draft and get another QB just like him! Isn’t that an exciting thought?

Every year I have to pick a “playoff” team just so I can half cheer for something done right. This year I went with the Vikings because I love Favre and I like the way they get after it. The players on the Raiders who have heart are hurting with us. We will be down for a long damn time, this isn’t gonna change. Dig deep and shield your pride.

I told you so.
I said it after lasts weeks game against the Eagles, last week we played a team that probably didn’t practice much or prepare and remember, Westbrook ran for 50 yards on 6 carries so it the eagles would have commited to the run it would’ve been the same thing. I knew the jets were going to run as everyone else did but why can’t this team stop it, are the players that bad or is it the scheme or do they feel like they can’t win with JR? This was bad.
by smalljaw on Oct 26, 2009 4:49 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
it's JR and the scheme
though the brilliant idea of two rookie starters at WR isn’t helping either.
but in actuality, the player talent on this team is playoff caliber.
