interesting question
Full Disclosure: I am a Lions fan, not a Raiders Fan.
Recently, I posted a poll in Pride of Detroit, SBNations Lions Blog site, and asked: given the team's failure over the last half century, and because a lot of this suffering stems from mismanagement from the owner, William Clay Ford, would you be happy if the owner died?
Its still early, the post has only been up for about a day, but early results show that most people, even after having the put up with all the BS for the last half century, would not celebrate WCF's death.
It got me thinking about how other fans, who have been put through the same misery around the league, feel about their owner.
So, Raiders fans, I gotta ask you the following question:

Seriously
Football’s just not important enough to wish for the death of another human being.

I don't want to say I'd be happy that someone's dead
but since it’s the only way he’d stop running this organization, than yes

let's not get it twisted here
i don’t think many people are being honest by saying they wouldn’t be happy if Al died. now i’m not saying i’m having some big old block party when the news breaks, but give me a fucking break here. we all know it’s the one sure proof way that this organization will get back on track.
there have been so many of us saying Cable needs to grow some balls and bench JR or grow some balls since he’s gonna be fired and stand up to Al.
So why don’t some of you do the same and grow some fuckin nuts and say what you really want to say
No one is saying you’re gonna go to bed night after night praying for the reaper to pay him a visit. No one is asking you to actually pull the plug on him if you were asked to.
Do we all want this team to get back to the glory days of old?———Yes
Is it going to happen with Al as the captain of this ship?——No
Is he gonna sell the team anytime soon?——Fuck NO!!!!
Is he still reminisceing about the Texas hold ‘em tournament he took 2nd place to the winner JESUS CHRIST?——Probably, which means he’s hellza fuckin old, so it’s not like you’re wishing death on somebody with their whole life ahead of them.
Nobody in this world loves THE OAKLAND RAIDERS more than Al Davis himself. The problem is, just like many of our dads or grandpas, he’s old, stubborn and set in his old ways. He doesn’t see that all that he is doing in the hopes of getting this team back on track, is really doing the opposite.

This is sick
anyone who would wish for a man to die because of how a football team is playing needs to get a life.
