Just depressing, but entriely based in fact. He's young, but even young QB's show promise by this time if they're going to make it. See how the young QBs drafted just this year are already showing a ton of promise?

Russell, Ryan and Flacco
KC Joyner, the Football Scientist, went out on a limb in the preseason and stumped for Russell. Joyner liked the way Russell finished last season. In the final six games of the 2008 season, Joyner found that Russell had a better passer rating than Matt Ryan and Flacco.
That’s why what is happening right now is so hard to believe.

It makes the whole damn situation even more frustrating
If the guy had never shown anything you could just say “Well he sucks.” But he has shown he can do it in the past. Why he is so bad right now is absolutely beyond me.
