Cable going to lockup?

Star-divide

From all accounts it looks straight up that Coach committed a felony assault, unless the other coaches who witnessed the incident say he was attacked and was defending himself, which in my opinion is highly unlikley.More likely is a suspension and possible jail time and the end of Cables days in Oaktown. I like Coach Cable a million times better than Coach Kiffin. Cable has the right attitude for the Raiders, I like what he says and if I was a player I would like him, he always seems to be on the players side. Wish we could a had a better Offensive line though, and Crabtree was the pick, not DHB-Still, it seems to me we are waiting for the game where everybody does their job and then weareGiantKillers...  I can't imagine why we were running McFadden up the middle and it's no surprise he broke down. JR did play well in our ugly loss to the Texans, we would have stayed in that game with better production out of the recievers, can someone explain why Javon Walker is the best paid WR in the game that doesnt work for a living? For this season, I just hope we can be more competitive, despite the committment to dysfunction that continues to plague us year after year, this whole assault thing is just another example of bad decision making, and soon we'll have another head coach because of it.Until then,we are still light years away from even a sniff of the playoffs. but maybe, with a big enough shake up and a couple of great FA pickups and draft picks next season, we got a chance..., A chance i wish we still had this season.

Veteran Wide Receiver

It depends. If that veteran wide receiver is Steve Smith of the Panthers, yes. If that veteran wide receiver is Marvin Harrison, no. I’d rather see Heyward-Bey and Murphy out there trying to learn and get better. Maybe a veteran would benefit Russell, sure, but it has to be the right one. Just putting a veteran wide receiver out there “just because” won’t help in my opinion.

we have a vet

his name is javon walker.
in my opinion i should be him as number 1 until schilens gets in and murphy at 2
then we would go jlh and dhb getting reps in when convenient, but jlh should get alot more reps than dhb.
either way we should be hitting miller all day… or myers with his hands….

It would see that Davis/Cable is mad at him for his knee surgery

Walker is starting to get vocal about being inactive every week.

I highly doubt Cable will go to jaill.

If there hasn’t been an arrest yet or any charges pressed by now, I doubt it will happen.

I worked in the court system

for many years and the one thing I learned is do not anticipate anything until all the voices are heard. There are always two sides to every coin and until Cable’s version is heard I suggest that everyone just calm down. I know from experience that something I thought to be true was not true when I found out all the facts, no matter what it appeared to be initially.

Exactly

He’d probably be fired at the end of the season anyway. Still, if they drag him away in handcuffs, at least he’ll fit the Raider image.

FILE - In this Sept. 4, 2009 file photo, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Shaun Hill aims a pass downfield against the San Diego Chargers during the first quarter of an NFL preseason football game in San Diego. Hill earned the starting job for the 2009 season by beating out Alex Smith, who missed last season after re-injuring his surgically repaired throwing shoulder. Head coach Mike Singletary largely chose Hill based on his play down the stretch last year: he went 5-3 over the final eight games and he also owns a 5-0 record at home in Candlestick Park.
