Charlie Frye for President

Ok I was watching our first Preseason game vs the Cowboys one of the few games we have won and I saw Jamarcus Russell he was Blah... Ok then Grad came in he was better than JR then Mr.President Charlie Frye came it and tore it up. His passes were average, His decisions were Ok but His Pocket Awareness was freaking Out- standing which is What JR sucks at and a few more things but, I don't understand why he can't get that taught to him by Charlie is it cause he thinks he is too good or something. I saw some good things from him if we could some how mix JR's arm strength, Grad's accuracy, and Frye's pocket awareness we would have a dam good QB. If you guys could go back and see what I'm talkin about in the 1st game it would be great cuz I can't find it all in You Tube.

Be careful

you’re dangerously close to committing the sin of bashing JaMarcus and some people will be at your door to take your head off for that ….

Don't worry I will

Recite my “I love Jamarcus Russell song” before I go to sleep. Do you want to sing with me?

No.

I want him to fall and trip in the locker room and sprain his throwing wrist.

Nah, then AL would say he is "Amphibious":

And he’d throw left handed!!!

I think this is helerious you guys are benching Gradkowski and he isnt even the starter yet!

I knew some of you guys were impatient but this has to be some kind of record.
I think Frye and Gradkowski both looked pretty good in preseason but as the backups they were playing against scrubs pretty much the whole time. I’m pretty certain that if i could be bothered I could find AT LEAST 7 obscure QB’s who put up good numbers against practice squad players.

Should JaMarcus be benched at some stage this season how about we give the guy who won the backup job a chance to start a game and not bench him after 3 quarters and no prep.

Let the Grad start and finish, have JR pretend to keep stats

and give Frye some time once the game is won or lost

You guys should of traded for Thigpen IMO

hes Gannon esque. You guys did good with Gannon when he left KC and Thiggy plays a lot like him. I know that it probably wouldnt happen with us being rivals but I think he would be a good fit but it would kill me when he haunts us in the future like Gannon did…

Fantasy Football

Speaking of which, I had Jamaal Charles and his 15.7 points on the bench. I started Tim Hightower and he gave me 5.8 points. I’m going to win this week in that league, though, so it’s all good.

I thought...

You guys traded him to Miami. I would love to have him..I tend to remember him being rather quick in the pocket too,

Thigpen

Yes, he was dealt to Miami.

Then Why Not...

Make an effort towards him in the Offseason. Miami has Henne and Thigpen isn’t being utiliezed over there

I definately favour getting a steady vet over drafting another rookie

it is one thing to go young be we have zero experience on offence. Our young receivers will drop balls but having young inconsistent receivers paired with a young wildly inaccurate QB is proving to be a recipe for disaster.
Getting a Vet will mean we do not have to completely give up on JaMarcus and have a true QB competition next offseason.
