When will Raiders win like they used to
I have being following raiders for almost 3 decades now and this decade is very embarssing to me. The team that should have won at least 6 games already is now ready for another 10 or more losses again. My friends say I should jump bail on the team but as a loyal fan. I could not do so this retired army guy wants to know who is going to restore the discipline back to this football so that we can look like a winning team again. On the east coast the raiders have some offensive weapons but we can not score. If the team is to move forward and get out fo this bottom for the decade is over we need a coach, quarterback, recivers, and management so that they can understand the past is gone and go forward. We can not live in the past on the raiders committment to excellence anymore if we going to lead the league in most losts in a decade.

So the Raiders offensive weapons have been hiding on the east coast
someone should probably go look for them.

You speak gibberish
But in reality we really won’t be a good team til Al Davis either
1) Hires a competent GM
2) Steps down and retires

Exactly
Al Davis getting out is the first step in my book since I don’t think hiring a competent general manager comes before Davis leaves.

Maybe when we find our offense on the east coast
we can bring a GM back as well.

General Manager
Well, the Browns fired their general manager.

The Browns should fire Mangini next
everything you hear makes it sound like Holmgren could be heading to the Browns for next year.

Mangini
He actually had a winning record in his three seasons with the Jets.

i agree with mike
Although i am beginning to lose faith in Russell you have to admit there were 9 dropped passes in the chiefs game that were the recievers fault, we need a veteran WR to help Russell and let the rookies have time to develop. And we really really really need better o-linemen

o-line plays good Sunday, Raiders still lose
At one point, Russell had made some of the best throws i’ve seen in a while. It gives me hope that he will get better with time. The inconsistency is madening.
But, Russell needs to take responsibility for the passing game. How come everyone is dropping passes, from the backs, to the receivers. Except for Miller and Schilens.

Inconsistancy is the key
That pretty much sums up why the dropped passes occur at such a rate, JaMarcus does make good throws but the inconsistancy is why he’ll never make it as a QB in the NFL. He makes 2 good passes and then 5 or 6 horrible throws and most of the time the recievers are trying to make a play on badly thgrown balls then all of a sudden a ball come their way that is catchable and it’s dropped. I’m not making excuses for the dropped passes but it would help the reciving corps to have catchable balls most of the time instead of just every now and then, and I think you’ll see how much difference accuracy will make with Gradkowski in.
