Chargers Release Chris Chambers!

I dont know what your thinking right now but all I am thinking is that we HAVE to jump on this opportunity to improve our team. The Raiders as you all very well know have been struggling at wide receiver this season and i truly think that if Jamarcus has a proven wide receiver then he will do a lot better than hes doing right now. (just think about him and chaz in the preseason). And that brings me to my next point i know chaz is coming back and he is a great wide receiver but every team needs a number 1 and 2 receiver to have a true threat in the passing game. So feel free to comment and tell me your opinion on this subject. And be sure to vote!!!!!!!

Chambers

With him being a veteran, he’s officially on waivers until 4:00 p.m. Eastern tomorrow. Teams that put in a waiver claim would have to be willing to take on about $2.25 million, I believe, of his $4 million salary if they want him on their team. I’d pass on him at that price.

i voted yes but if i think about it some more it doesn’t seem worth it. If Schilens does actually come back then it’ll probaby be Murphy as the #2(hopefully) and it’ll get heyward-bey off the field since its obvious heyward-bey isn’t ready to become an nfl starter right now. But if Chaz’s foot is still bothering him considering it was supposed to be a 4-6 week injury and we’re already past week 8, it wouldn’t hurt that much bringing Chambers in.

It would be a good sign for next year.When we have a different QB. Our Reciever core is only a quarter of the problem. The other 75 % is JaFumbles. With a competent QB Chris Chambers would be a good sign but, with JaDumbass he would only be more wasted talent.

Teams don't cut players in the middle of the season without a good reason.

I mean they waived him over receivers that don’t even have a catch yet. I am all for getting some solid route runners out there, but I am not sure Chambers is the guy.

Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast.

We really should pick him up now

with Chaz coming back if we also got Chambers that would really take the pressure off the young guys in the second half and its not like he’s not in shape. We can still give Murphy and DHB plent of reps but it just gives a reliable vet fourth guy that obviously JLH and Javon aren’t. He has 9 catches for 122 yards and a TD and was clearly barely an option in SD.
I say unless they are going to start playing Javon get Chambers (but play him).
