Silver and Black Pride Day at The Coliseum:

(Today's Pre-Game Thread is OPEN)

Yes, Raider Nation, I think that this site has earned our own day at the Coliseum. No, no, that doesn't mean that they will be marching us down onto the field and giving us Blogger of the Year Awards. This does mean that I will call my ticket rep and try to get tickets for all of us to sit together for the Baltimore Ravens Game. It also means that we will have a kick-ass tailgate beforehand and I'll see about getting some special guests for the breakfast portion.

My idea goes like THIS:

My buddy Rob runs a tailgate called Grilla-Rilla Tailgate that Gorilla-Rilla is a regular at. He grills absolutley EVERYTHING!!! Ribs, Chicken, Scrimp, tri-tip and oysters. We will join his tailgate VERY early.

Hopefully we can get a "special guest" or two to come by and say "Hi".

I am working out the details on T-Shirts, and want to get them as low as $5 a shirt. In Silver and Black Of Course!!!

I would like to work out a Pod Cast, of sorts, that will give the Nation a view into the Raider Nation.

Lastly, we will all pack up and get into the game by kick-off.

Notes:

Let's have a slogan contest for the T-Shirts. The winner will get a free T-Shirt.

If you already have tickets, just RSVP and we can make sure there is enough food.

I'll throw down a couple racks of ribs, a couple of tri-tips and much more, but we need some help feeding all of the masses. So reply with what you can bring and we'll be fine. If you can't afford to buy a ticket or bring food, rsvp anyway and then e-mail me @ saint_oakland@yahoo.com to let me know.

I look forward to meeting each and every one of you. This is a great time for those of you who are from out of the area to come out and meet the folks who read, write and laugh at the stuff you write here daily.

Much Love Nation and GO RAIDERS!!!!

I'm in. sounds like a blast!

I’ll bring some carne asada or a some tri-tips and beans or something like that. I’ll be looking into tickets this week. My fiancee got some great 30 yard line seats about ten rows up from the field for the Raiders and Patriots last year; I’m gonna try to get the same seats if possible.

I’m assuming details will follow, and we can officially RSVP accordingly? Let me know.

GO RAIDERS!

Awesome. Appreciate your putting this together

We have a great group of folks here on the site, and I’ll be looking forward to this one. It’ll be a special game, and we’ll be the twelfth man on the field for sure, and hopefully the deciding factor!

I attended the game against Pittsburgh a couple of years ago when we beat the Super bowl team in one of our only wins of the year. I was in the nosebleed section, and the whole stadium was on its feet most of the time. I’ve never felt as much a part of the vibe than that game. It was so loud, even on the top deck.

I remember Chris Carr picking off Big Ben and returning it 90 some yards for the TD to put us up by two scores. I think the defense came up with some big stops in the red zone on 4th down after we turned the ball over a couple of times with offense sputtering and giving them chance after chance. D came up big. And there was no shortage of Pittsburgh fans there. Great game. I believe it was my fiancees bday present to me that year. Good to have come home with a win.

That was sweet!!! I missed that game because of a family birthday:

I ended up listening to it on many different radios, from the car to a stranger’s.
