Chiefs vs. Raiders

Okay!  So who is going to the 11/15 game against the Chiefs?  I will be there in the Hole, punking off Chiefs fans, booing JaMarcus Russel and hopefully watching the return of DMC. I am confident we will beat the Chiefs, but I am beginning to think we will be lucky to break 5 wins.

Sad but true!... either way I bleed Silver and Black.  Let's go Raiders!  Scalp those motherfudgers!

Prediction - Raiders - 16, Chiefs 10

Little Soon...

Seeing that the game is more than a week away, anything can happen. A major injury in practice, a suspension. Do you think the game is this Sunday? But, pending there are no injuries or suspensions. I see the game going something like 28-10. An Michael Bush having a career day with nearly 200 on the ground and 3 TD’s. But, I was terribly wrong on my Week 7 prediction.

he's probably going down early to hit the tailgate

now that’s commitment to excellence! :)

If we beat KC again, that's fine with me

but after that I beg that the Raiders lose out so we can get a guy like Suh, or McClain. If we’re not going to get a QB, at least build up the defense so we can recreate an early 2000’s type Ravens team. They didn’t score that many points nor were they overly dominant on offense, but they had a defense that kept them in games and won them games.

This Raiders defense is close, but it still needs better rotational depth, a NT, and a proper MLB/OLB depending on where Morrison plays.

McClain

He would be a huge boost to our D. He is a leader though and through

plus he is tremendously amazing

in the running game. I’ve watched him closely all year, and he can redirect runs just because of the sheer fear factor he presents to opposing backs.

Fear Factor

will only be present in college, not with the big boys in the NFL.

Was that written by Larry Johnson?

Oh well, at least he’s cleaned up his language. ha,ha

Since Larry Johnson has just been released, wouldn’t it be funny Al Davis tries to sign him.

I thought about this

and after this year, I’d like to see LJ come in as a potential Fargas replacement. Unlikely to happen but he’d give us a nice 2nd or 3rd option.

and has a nasty “play me or else” attitude

Leave LJ for someone else

Why would we want Larry Johnson? We have three backs who are better than him.

Ummm

I dont think Bush, Fargas or McFadden have the talent that LJ has…But, He doesn’t have enough heart to run the ball Oak Town

by Remix. on Nov 12, 2009 12:36 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Lj has talent? lol

I think it was his HOF offensive line that got him all the yards in those few years

by tomahawk44 on Nov 13, 2009 1:11 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

That,

And the fact that he ran the ball nearly 400 times.lol. Im just saying, he needs some sort of talent to be the top HB 2 years ago.

I would like to see McFadden used in the return game

Maybe he could be a spark and get JaMarcus some good field position for the first time this year.
Also if JLH is not going to be used as a receiver why not have him return kick-off’s as well as punts?

McFadden+return game=nightmare

he goes down way too easily as a running back and fumbles way too much.

Looking forward to seeing a semblance of our starting team 100%

And have an idea of what that unit actually looks like. Hope they don’t come out locking in on the obvious Schilens, Miller, McFadden combination every one knows is our tendency.

With the attention they should be showing those guys, I want to see Nick Miller used like Wes in New England, Murphy getting some deep looks, and DHB finally looking like the top pick we used on him. Not sure what to expect for a corps there, but wouldn’t be surprised to see some different sets with JLH in there. No idea where Javon Walker is, but I’m keeping faith the coaching is using the right guys at the right times; that one remains puzzling, especially considering the fat contract.

Think the Chiefs are missing their starting RG big this time around, and it’s mostly one-sided, barring a complete flop from Jamarcus again, which is never out of the question.

The Raiders break the 20 mark for a change, and the Chiefs get a TD and two FGs. GO RAIDERS!

by brhynno on Nov 13, 2009 4:43 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Chiefs fans look at that as a plus

RG was Mike Goff formerly of San Diego. He’s been horrible. The backup Andy Alleman has played much better. KC’s line is still not great, but it’s getting better, almost to the below average mark! Ha.

Some new things for KC – Chris Chambers claimed from SD had 70 yards and 2 TDs with less than a week of practice last week. He should be better with one more week of practice with Cassel. KC has a kid we got from AZ, been on the practice squad, drawing comparisons to Wes Welker, named Lance Long.

On Defense, Vrabel most likely will be out, which is a huge loss in leadership, but the D-line is improving. Tyson Jackson (#3 overall in the draft) had a breakout game last week with 7 tackles. Glen Dorsey and Tamba Hali kept constant pressure on David Garrard.

Good luck, but this KC team is twice as good as the one that dominated Oakland the first time, and still lost. Should make for a very competitive game with all of Oaklands starters back!

I'll take that bet, you're gonna regret, cause Haley's the best that's ever been...

Predicted outcome for the Raidaaa's goes a little something like this:

UCrawford bowed his head because he knew JaMarcus had been beat.
He laid that golden sig line on his profile at Lucas's feet.
Haley said: "UCrawford just come on back if you ever want to try again.
"I told you once, you son of a bitch, I'm the best that's ever been."

Dominated???

So then I, as a Raider fan can say that we dominated the Chargers both times right? I dont think so… A loss is a loss.A win is a win. We were the better team and come Sunday, we will be the better team again. Michael Bush is going to have a field day. Expect to see him in the end zone 3 times. And I’ll expect to see Cassel on his back 9 times.

I was referring to 409 vs 166 yards of offense.

Do you not call that a domination?

By the way, the Raiders looked great against the Bolts, and have a very good running game :)

May the better team win, I guess...

I hope we have an offense that shows up this week! I wanted Chambers to be a Raider, but you gotta have a guy that can get the ball to him when he comes open.

I just want to see a good game for a change, and not a disaster. Interesting pattern of road wins for the Raiders and Chiefs, though. I wouldn’t bet on either team on this one, fan or not; I’d stay far, far away from this one!

Just got back from the game

My god… Heyward Bay is a piece of crap receiver. JaMarcus made some really bad throws, but threw two on the money to DHB and he flat out dropped them. We win that game if it’s Murphy trying to make those catches.
