J.P. Losman signed for 1 year deal
Raiders signed J.P. Losman on Tuesday for a 1 year deal.
By John Clayton
ESPN.comWith Bruce Gradkowski injured with two damaged MCL knee ligaments, Al Davis was looking for an experienced veteran who could help them during the final three weeks of the season. Losman was a natural choice because of his strong arm and how he started to reshape his career in the UFL. Losman was a former first-round draft pick.

not a bad signing under the circumstances
I think this a CLEAR sign that Mr Davis is done with JaMarcus (for this year at least) I think we can expect Charlie to start this week and it will be between JP and Charlie after that.
"Mel Kiper has his opinion and I respect it. But what does it mean? My 9-year-old nephew can watch film and make an opinion. I think I value the opinion of scouts who get paid to make their opinions. It will carry me through my career. It will serve as motivation for me." - Mike Mitchell

Sadly
I’m sure they will not use him until J-Bus Ass has thrown a couple of INTs and fumbled at least once, thereby making anything anyone else does useless.
Well
I don’t hate the signing. JP did show some flashes of competence in Buffalo, maybe he can do something in Oakland.
Just shows
that the raiders dont even have confidence in russelll as a back-up
