I dont like this one bit

As much as I hate to say it Russell last week has earned the right to start for the remainder of the year. Also Zach has had 2 concussions this year… Why force him back?

i have to agree

if we are to give russell any hope of improving, he has to be put in a position where he has to work his ass off to become relevant again.

Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!!

Charlie didnt look so great last week, hopefully he will have a better grasp Sunday, but if Russell is still in the plans [ which we know he is ] they might as well play him to give him more experience, and see what he can do with a little momentum.

Update

According to David White’s latest blog entry, Charlie Frye will be the starter for definite this Sunday.

Raiders quarterback Charlie Frye will, in fact, start Sunday at Cleveland, barring any concussion-related setback, coach Tom Cable said after practice Wednesday.

Frye passed the needed tests earlier this afternoon on time to fully participate in practice.

Russell by no means earned even a move up the depth chart last week to number two

The defense kept us in the game, and he made a key play when it counted, for a change.

He also fumbled almost instantly, and the team’s miscues escalated exponentially.

Frye is the only choice at this point. The defense will keep us in this one again, and we’ll get 100 yards from every back that touches the ball. RRS’ above quote leaves it a little up in the air, though, does it not? barring any concussion-related setback….

Hope Zach is fully recovered. He’s been getting hung out to dry this year, and still hanging strong.
