I am a Browns fan living in Fairfield (Travis AFB). I want to wish you luck this weekend. I would like nothing more than the Browns to win 3 straight, but the Raiders can put up some numbers, depending on the QB. There is nothing to gain from either of these games, but both teams will come out hard and play to the end.
Big Storylines coming into this game will be the quarterback issue for both teams:
1. Quarterbacks-
Raiders down to 3rd string QB, whether that is JP Losman or Jamarcus Russell no one knows. And the Browns will start Derek Anderson. I was really looking forward to a Charlie Frye vs. Anderson game. They battled for the starting spot in Cleveland in 2007, Frye won the spot. He played extremely bad in the first game, benched at half, then traded to Seattle one day later.
2. Holmgren-
Another storyline is how hard will the Browns play to show Mike Holmgren what they are made of. No one wants to lose their job with a new boss coming in.
3. Big Game Hangover-
Will the 2 players (Harrison and Joshua Cribbs) that had monster games last week, show up again, or will the Raider D stop them? Coming off a win against their most hated rivals, will the Raiders carry over the momentum to knock the wind out the Browns?
4. Win Streak
Will the Raiders start one or will the Browns continue one?
Again I wish Raider nation the best of luck, and Happy Holidays.
