The Lions have Traded their ptck to the Jets:
I bet that the Jets will take Gilbert.
But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."

Scouts Inc says
Shaughnessy started seven of the 11 games he appeared in and missed two games with an injury (see durability) in 2005. He finished that year with 39 total tackles, 20 unassisted tackles, 7.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks and two pass breakups. Shaughnessy started all 13 games of the 2006 season finishing with 35 total tackles, 19 unassisted tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, four sacks, one fumble recovery and forced fumble. He started all 13 games of the 2007 season finishing with 60 total tackles, 41 unassisted tackles, 18 tackles-for-loss, five sacks and three pass breakups. Shaughnessy started all 13 games in 2008 finishing with 40 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, four sacks and four pass breakups

I can only find this, and not one vid on U-tube
Matt Shaughnessy, DE, Wisconsin
Matt Shaughnessy is the type of player that every coach loves to have on their team. He’s not only the hardest worker, he’s also extremely talented. Shaughnessy has been incredibly productive during his career at Wisconsin, after taking over a starting role as a sophomore. He’s another one of the new breed of college defensive ends. Shaughnessy is small, quick, and hard for big tackles to block. He seems to always be in the backfield disrupting plays, having recorded 33.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks in his first three seasons. Shaughnessy might need to add a little bulk to play every down in the NFL. He plays at 253 pounds right now, and if it doesn’t affect his speed, could stand to gain 15 to 20 pounds. He is very alert, and makes all the little plays that make a defense great. Shaughnessy is excellent at using his 6’6" frame to bat balls down at the line of scrimmage. He broke up 9 pass attempts during his career when asked to drop into coverage. Shaughnessy had a slow season in 2008, finishing with only 40 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks. The Badger senior is probably a third round prospect at this point in time. However, if Shaughnessy can have a productive off season and run a good time at the NFL Combine, he could go as high as the middle of the second round.
Matt Shaughnessy had a solid, but uneventful week at the East-West Shrine Game in January. He made few mistakes during practice, but failed to really wow any coaches either. More than anything, Shaughnessy showed off his non-stop motor to potential employers. During the weekend’s game, he recorded 4 tackles, a tackle for loss, and even batted down 2 passes at the line of scrimmage.
Matt Shaughnessy ran slower than expected at the NFL Combine, but because of the unusually slow times all around it may not have hurt his stock too much. He only logged a 4.91 second 40 yard dash time, but coaches will be more interested in his effort and consistency as a pass rusher. He should be drafted in the late third or early fourth round this year.
We're Not the Only Ones "Reaching"
The Jaguars just took Derek Cox, the CB out of William & Mary we scouted and thought would be a 5th-7th round pick. Just goes to show you never know what’s going to happen on Draft Weekend. Lots of talent still on the board, let’s see what the Raiders do in the 4th round.
Most Likely Draft: I don't even know anymore.
The idea of reaching is just perception
just because Mel Kiper doesnt know a player doesn’t mean that the teams that scout year round dont have someone high on their board. The actual teams are much more in depth in their scouting of smaller schools than the so called experts who basically just print what they get told by their team insiders who just tell them what they want them to report and basically use them to manipulate the draft.
Teams are not going to tell these guys who they really like because then the hype starts and the player gets overvalued and someone inevitably trades to get ahead of you etc etc
The only time we will know if the Jags or Us or even the queefs with Tyson Jackson ‘reached’ if after these guys get on the field
Who Thinks
We are about to go DT?

I’m glad Follett was drafted, although it was by the Lions. I’d rather have him as opposed to that outside linebacker from Oregon State.
