If you would like to hear someone from ESPN saying some nice things about the Raiders pick of DHB listen to the 27/4 Mike and Mike podcast available on itunes and the espn pocast center.

Now I'm not saying that just because he like the pick he knows more than Kiper and McShay im just saying that he as a guy who breaks down a lot of tape AND ACTUALLY PLAYED THE GAME really liked the pick.

He notes that after studying the tape he didn't see any problem with his hands says he thought he ran good routes, explodes into routes and has a skill set that he feels would translate very well to the NFL.  He says that he only had Crabtree rated slightly higher than DHB but depends what the offensive philosophy was as to who would be a better pick.

As I said I'm not saying that he is a football genius just because he like the pick (so back off haters), all will be proven on the field but he is definitely a well respected football guy who I'm sure watches A LOT more tape than Kiper and McShay and as a former player (at an extremely high level) has a great perspective.

Finally some love on ESPN its right at the end of the podcast but is definately a good listen.  Cheers Ron
