I as much as anyone dislike the back and forward of Brett Favre and his Year in and Year out will he wont he situation although I'm sure the NFL loves it as it keeps them in the headlines.

But as an Football fan I can say I love watching Brett Favre play and I do not understand how any football fan can say they really want him to retire.  He plays the game with a real joy and is one of the greatest players of all time - Brett Favres dont come along every year and as much as a Raiders homer as I am I hope Brett Favre plays for as long as possible.

And for all those saying 'he's hurting his legacy' well its his legacy not yours/ours and he has the right to do what ever he wants with it.
