As many as of you know, Tony Dungy spoke with Michael Vick a while ago. The former NFL coach actually met with Vick last week at the federal penitentiary in Kansas. "It's a young man that made a mistake and is looking for a chance to recover and move forward. That's where he is and that's where so many of the men who are here today are," says Dungy.
Yeah, ignore the words on the picture.
The latest entry in the Silver and Black Blog features the Raiders' signing of a free agent tight end by the name of J.P. Foschi.
Without further delay, here are my quick-hitting thoughts:
- The Denver Nuggets defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 124-110, and won the series by a count of 4-1. They'll face the winner of the Rockets-Lakers series. The Lakers lead that series, 3-2, and the Rockets have their backs against the wall.
- President Barack Obama, as many of you, did not release the detainee photos. I disagree with the decision, but that's just me. Either way, someone is going to be all over him no matter what decision he made on it.
- Sarah Palin has inked a book deal to publish her story of an unlikely political career and meteoric rise from small-town mayor to Republican vice presidential candidate. It should be interesting to say the least.
