Back to the good old days

It's time to return to the smash mouth, nasty way that we all know and love. Was a time when we were the most feared team in the league. Teams hated to play us, we were unpredictable, nasty, and reckless. Right now we have arguably the best backfield, when healthy, in the league. Michael Bush is a beast, Justin is tough, and DMC has unlimited potential. If and when Heyward-Bey gets healthy, watch out. Signing Jeff Garcia was a huge move, the experience and attitude alone will do nothing but help Russell. 9 wins this year is what I'm predicting, the Lame Kiffin days are long gone, special teams play and the defense will set the tone. Just win baby!!

Leaders bring that nastiness

We can all invision our beloved Raiders being tough and Nasty lets hope. Cable brings that fire to the team that has long been lost. Light a the match under Russell’s ass and look what it did he’s taking steps to becoming a leader. Leaders take the bull by the horns and calls no demands that all his recievers be there and participate. he tells him you get open and I’ll get you the ball. Smash mouth football opens the vertical game, but we can’t try and swing for the fences every time. Wear out the opposing defense and then run it right down there throats with D mac getting the carry. I say every year Superbowl bound though it doesn’t come true and hasn’t come true in over 6 years now this team will be better then they were last year now that there is some veteran presence and people are stepping up to be a leader on this team. Big ups to Coach Cable for having that intensity and desire.

Me too

That 83 Raiders team shutting down the Redskins in the Super Bowl was probably the pinnacle for the organization (so far). I’d love to see that kind of defense again.
