Around SBN: Tiger Woods Makes His 2012 PGA Tour Debut

finally something positive

i am coming up on my first anniversary on visiting this blog. i've posted a few fanposts here and there, but always a must daily read for me.  i've had alot of fun during the good times and bad.  unfortunately theres been more bad than good.  hopefully that will all change this year with the team we have and the coach we have.  but to get to the point, eversince last years training camp when all the kiffin drama started it seems the media, especially the east coast, has nothing good to say at all, ever. even when the raiders finished strong at the end of the season and even knocked the bucs out of the playoffs.  then there was the draft beat down followed up by the espn cris carter, tom jackson dissing DHB infront of his family.  now, training camp has started and yet again not much good to say, even some of the local media had not alot of good things to say about cable's first four days of camp. eventhough it wasn't a beat down, there wasn't a whole lotta good press.  there was even a quote from the lame new 'sportsnation' show from espn about how the raiders are nothing more than fuel for a dumpster fire.    so having said all that, it was good to see a blog from bucky brooks from all places, nfl.com.  i'll leave the link below.  for all of you who are looking for something positive, its a nice change.

Raiders Depth chart is out

Interesting that Sands is left off of it completely. I know he has been struggling , but is he hurt or has he gotten cut without me noticing it. Also, I love Fargas, but why is he still listed as the starter. It has to be one of the other 2. They are just better running backs. I do not like DHB getting the starting nod right away. Does not seem like he’s earned it and having things just given to you make you a lazier person, IMHO.

Where is

Javon Walker? I don’t see him anywhere on this list.

And

Chris Johnson got the start over Routt? After the camp Routt had, I thought this would be his year.

That's Sounds Right

After an amazing year C Johnson had, you expect Routt to beat him out. Relax brotha. I expect Johnson to be the opposite CB of Asomugha

1 Year is Nothing

Anyone can blow up in 1 Sunday if given the Chance he needs to be consistent which he cannot prove until like week 5.

Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.

Um

One year in our strict man-to-man defense has to be tough enough. Come, he was such a beautiful player for us. He was the starter in the Tampa Bay game and he pretty much shut his guy down, not to mention the last couple of games. He also had picks. To me, he is the definite 2nd starter.

True

But, there have been a lot of “One Year Wonders” as seen on NFL Network I think he still needs to prove himself a little more

i like it

CJ’s legit cuz they left that bastard on an island against the likes of Andre Johnson and he didn’t get blown up…

atleast it was better than D.Hall vs. Eddie Royal.

Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!!

Might I Add

He shut off Eddie Royal the second game. No match for C Johnson

I have

no problem with C-J, I just don’t like going on last year. Either way though, it gives us another option on nickel and dime. Wonder where that leaves Huff?

He's on the PUP list:

Sands is on the slow boat out of town.

But when they start scheming us the way these guys did, and we weren't particularly ready for it, anything can happen."

Its the first preseason game not everyone is going to play and thats more than likely the reason they arent listed on the depth chart, there is no reason to panic.

that might be the reason he was reported at 300 lbs, and its problaby a good way to loss those Lbs in that hot California air.
