Just played first game of Madden 10
Awesome game much more fluid than last game and really feels like a game of football where last year it seemed a bit plastic. Much more detailed and varied animations a must have. In my first game beat Donkeys 28-14 Mitchell was all over the field with a pick a sack and a pressure that resulted in a int return for a TD by Namdi (although the commentary pronounces it Aso-moog-a - very annoying). Jamarcus has a rocket and the run game is MUCH better than last year) LOVIN IT!

I’m excited (as I am every year) for the game. I’ll be playing it tomorrow.

sooo
me being a great madden fan. since EA is now starting to listen to its fans, i’ve been thinking i should wait next year and have a better madden game. i was playing the AA demo A LOT, and i played it more than the madden demo. then again, i’ll probably borrow AA from my friend. are there any annoying problems that any madden fan would burst out in tears?
the only thing is that they havent fixed that I can think of
is the AI on recievers when they catch the ball with their back to the endzone and then proceed to run in the wrong direction costing you a first down every now and then.
The run game feels more realistic which is cool and the whole game seems to have been slowed down a little bit which makes it feel more realistic.

i know the commentary, half-time, and post-game shows are bad
but do they bother you?
FINALLY...
I have the ps3 system and for years was very disappointed at the game play vs X-box…but Sony and the folks at EA finally have a MADDEN worth buying..full 1080 graphics man this thing plays great ..so if past MADDEN’s have gotten you PS3 users understandably frustrated this one makes up for it……MUST HAVE>>>

Thoughts...
I like it a bit more than last years game but here are the things I noticed:
1. D-Line play feels better but it’s too easy to get sacks. I easily broke the single season sack record with Trevor Scott (if only that came true this year!) and got numerous QB pressures. It almost feels like cheating to get so many sacks.
2. The slower game feels better, it takes a little getting used to but I think it’s better.
3. Recievers can get really jammed at the line. Much more than last year and it forces you to adjust the timing on throws.
4. Blocking seems better. Most of the players seem to get their assignmoents right (although there is still the odd case of the LT not blocking the ROLB). and I have seen the CPU run screen plays that actually work!
5. They STILL need to fix interceptions for Nnamdi. I have lost count of the number of times he has dropped picks that come right to him. most of the time he’s a step or two in front of the reciever and he just drops it. That would never happen!
The’res probably more but that’s it for now.
loove the new madden
gotta say though, they made the raiders pretty damn good. perhaps a little undeserving, but its alright. ihad trouble getting sacks w/ Scott, was much better with Shaugnessey..
have you tried using Mike Bush. he’s an absolute beast!! when i run with him, he doesnt go down unless he’s wrapped up by ATLEAST 2 or 3 guys.
Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!!
You guys need to bump up your level, then, because I can’t do much of anything at all. Losing 24-7 at the half against the Lions clearly means that I need to practice, practice and practice hard. If not, I’ll go 1-15 or 2-14 in my franchise.

Ha, well, I simulated a year of a franchise and went 6-10. Russell, Miller, Mitchell, Heyward-Bey, Schilens and Murphy are all progressing nicely with McFadden bumping up to an 85 after just one season.
