I'm going to bend the rules a bit
and say that Zach Miller looks just like John Travolta.

Ok...
Thanks for that mature and insightful comment.

umm..why do you think DHB
will turn out to be the next Ashley Lelie? im curious to know….
and before we crown nick miller god, we should note that he did just kind of blow any chances of winning tonight’s game. not saying it’s important that we win a preseason game, just saying i feel much more comfortable seeing justin miller returning those kicks…
Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!!
It's more of who they remind me of not how good they are or there potential or anything
Welker and miller both return kicks, are tiny, fast, and are great slot options. as for DHB, they play similarly in that they are blazing fast, a big target, and super athletic. I’m curious, who does he remind you of then?
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
I hope Heyward-Bey doesn’t turn out like Troy Williamson.

Our Shitty Run Defense reminds me of.......
the same old shitty run defense we have had for the last six years. The worst in the league. If we cant turn this around, this season is gonna be LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLong.

S&BP > Mile High Mules
wow, this isn't the OakFoSho i remember from the early days
what happened to the overly optimistic young fellow I used to know?

what is realism though
aside from just always assuming your right? haha, random thought

yea man.....
6 years of nonsense will do that too you. That and a terrible economy, and an even worse job market. My anger is compounded by many things these days, and I guess I have no patience left for a team that still cant stop the run, even though its supposedly been the major point of emphasis in camp.
Tough times call for real talk, and were in trouble. LT, LJ, and whomever they got in Denver are licking their collective chops dreaming about the day they will get to get off on the Raiders.
Can this trend be stopped? Maybe, but we better see some real improvement, and that means now. We have one more meaningful preseason opportunity to get this thing together. If I had it my way, I would…….
Cut TERD and rotate the Harvard kid Bryant with Warren opposite Kelly. Apparently William Joseph is showing some old form, so he can spell somebody too. Im also going to anyone in the league with next years 2nd and 3rd rounders trying to find a legit NT. Something has to be done. The Raiders need a real shakeup on the interior D-Line IMO.

Tom Cable & John Goodman (Roseanne)
Lee Corso & Mel Brooks
Adam Oates & Ray Liotta
I was born twins, but the other one died laughing at me
Roseanne is an amazing show. I don’t know why people hate it so much.

I also don't ge why people don't like Darlene
i think she’s pretty.
I hate the original Becky though. The show gets good when Sarah Chalke plays Becky. Though Sarah Chalke is prettier in Scrubs as Elliot.

The best years of the show were when it was the original Becky. That’s definitely when ratings soared.

Darlene is Mary Anne
to Becky’s Ginger. I’ll take Mary Anne. But Sarah Chalke — mmmmm ….. Sarah.
I hope Russell
turns out to be another Daunte Culpepper ( when he was a viking)
Trains , planes, and automoblies,.... better have my donuts!!!!
Roseanne's voice is annoying
I don’t watch those kind of shows anyway though. Dub, I hope Russell doesn’t turn out like Culpepper considering he’s never won shit. I’d rather see Russell turn out like Joe Montana but that’s just me. Heyward-Bey doesn’t remind me of anyone considering he’s only caught one pass so far and has never played in a regular season game yet. Justin Miller should most definently be our kick returner over anyone else because in the short time he was with us last season after being traded from the Jets, he took two kickoff returns back for touchdowns. There’s no logic in plugging Nick Miller in at anything except as the 6th wide receiver on the depth chart.
I like to have just as much optimism as anyone else but right now the current Raiders remind me of a team that hasn’t done better than 5-11 in the past 6 seasons. Our run defense was atrocious last year and we did nothing to change it so I don’t see how it’s going to get any better. I hope when the roster cuts are here that someone releases a DT that can stop the run.

I'm thinking N. Miller could take Higgins spot as 2nd KR.
Yeah N Miller fumbled but he was just trying too hard. Walker is back on Monday and once Schilens is healthy, N Miller will have to beat Holland for the 6th. (If we carry that many). I love him though and really want him to make the 53. Bayes and Watkins won’t make it.
1- Chaz
2-Murphy
3-Bey/Walker
4-Bey/Walker
5-Miller
6-JLH
Historically when you give a great returner more time at reciever there production goes dow. Hense Hester, Hall etc. It would be best if JLH was just a KR
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
I like your six
That gives N Miller a spot (even if we only carry 5) and JLH can consentrate on Special Teams.
It will be interesting to see if Walker’s ‘mystery’ surgery worked. By all reports his workouts have have been good at camp but I’m still very skeptical. Walker finally admited the surgery was preformed outside the US. (Not AMA or FDA approved?) Could be duct tape and drywall screws holding him together. Sounds sketchy as hell to me.
honestly,
i dont really like nick miller anywhere near special teams. not like we need him there, either, justin miller and JLH combined for perhaps the best returning duo in the league.
at WR, is definitely a different story. i like the fast little bastard, haha.
Don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!!
JLH
is a proven wide receiver in the regular season. Nick Miller hasn’t done anything yet for getting stats. It seems like no one remembers Higgins filling in as the second WR last year and looked better than anyone else all year except Schilens, not to mention Higgins led all the WR’s on our team in receptions with 22. Louis Murphy ahead of DHB on the depth chart just proves that we wasted the pick if we do that.
The depth chart should go like this once Schilens is healthy:
1. Schilens
2. Higgins
3. DHB
4. Murphy
5. Walker/ he’s too slow and when healthy last season he didn’t seem like he was trying
6. Miller
I would keep Justin Miller as the kick return specialist considering he’s the first Raider ever to have two kickoff returns for touchdowns in one season and put Higgins as the punt returner unless Nick Miller can PROVE he’s better. I doubt it since Higgins can take punts back for touchdowns though.
